    I want to cancel Wu-Yi Source a diet green tea system.  When I called the phone number mentioned on there website for cancellation I was referred to the # 10-15-15-8000.  That one seemed fishy so I looked it up and found out it is probably bogus.  The second # was 1-800-712-3000, when I googled it
    this page came up.  There is no email address for Wu-Yi only that phone number. Anyone know how I can cancel with them?

    The number is United Marketing Group. in Illinois. They market legal advice and have a buyers unit. Call
    888-326-7156 to get them off your credit or check card. They are half way bogus. Just legal to get away with it!

    Strange, my mother had told me she had called the American Idol voting number and got a recording saying that in order for her to vote she needed to call 1-800-712-3000. She said that number wasn't working but then she received a call back from the number she called. I haven't tried to call the number myself and thought I'd Google the number and ended up here. Anyone else get any info?

    I called for U-Verse Technical Support and got a recording telling me they have a new number 1(800)712-3000.  The number had many options like dial a certian prompt to get my horoscope.  I just hung up not dialing any selection.  I hope they are not able to bill me for something.  How can the number from U-Verse Tech support be changed like that?

    Here is the summary of the basis:

    ~~~~~40% of all Telemarketing victims claim that they have gotten this telemarketing problem from a internet source.
    ~~~~~50% have it included with a bank account, agency, or other corporation.
    ~~~~~10% have gotten the calls from unknown reason. For no reasons.
    This is getting serious. Over 1,000 people and more come to 800 notes EVERYDAY to report a call.
    Can you believe this?
    Well, here are some things you can do:
    ~If it a threat, (whether you get money stolen or a physical threat) you can report it to the police. If the caller corp. has stolen any amount of cash out of your bank account, you have to call your bank and check if it is true. If it is, this is something you need to deal with w/ the bank.
    ~ Place yourself in the DNCL. (Do Not Call List) Google it and find the website.
    ~Sometimes this works, tell the caller to stop calling.
    And finally!
    PLEASE, be careful who you give your number to!
    I bought Business cards from VISTA PRINT on 2 different occasions and each time I was charged 19.95 for some AWI SAVE group, I called and they claim to be busy so leave a message, Ya right. I finally called the sherrifs and they called the company and made them reverse charges and release my information from their system.
    Flaviss might not see this but I just wanted to warn others that the correct Gov-approved website to get your free credit report is annualcreditreport.com, *not* freecreditreport.com. freecreditreport will charge you money despite its name.
    I tied calling UMB for my HSA information, which is a toll free number, and received a message saying THAT number from MY area had changed, to 1-800-712-3000.  Upon calling the "changed" number, got an automated message offering pest control services, with prompts for other items, including horoscopes.  Needless to say I hung up, Googled the number and landed here.  I'm also reporting it to UMB through their website, just to let them know that they might not be receiving all their calls.
