My sister receives her diabetic and respiratory from Access. They've recently changed their name to AOM. She has received her meds. on a timely basis and exactly what was ordered. I just got a call today and didn't recognize their number so didn't answer the call. She is never billed for any medical supplies and receives them timely. I don't know anything about them cold calling or marketing though.
I just moved back home with grandma when she hands me this business card from "Access Diabetic Supply" An Owens&Minor company.
it also says its "America's Choice for Diabetic Supplies and Respiratory Medications" in asterisks it indicates that it used to be or "Formerly Matrix Diabetic Supply* they said to call 1-800-477-5868
My mistake I gave them my number, now I have high bloodpressure from them calling all the time wanting me to use their supplies, they are alot higher than my insurance provider. I think they are better suited for people older in age with free supplies delivered to your door.
Here is a way to get them to stop calling. Send them a fax to there voice phone it will keep calling till it gets a fax tone which will be never. they will have there lines busy for ever if enough people do this from work or your computer it cost nothing.
These people call at least twice a day -- no one in my home is a diabetic or has any other medical supply need. The website listed about does not work; I did discover this through google, and called and asked to speak to the CEO; I got an "assistant" who guaranteed me my name would be taken off the list. Might try it

12:30 my time and I just got a call from Access Diabetic supplies wanting to talk to me about how Medicare recipients can get their diabetes supplies. I asked how she got my information and she said that they are authorized to call people that have in the past filled out a card saying they wanted information on diabetes products and services. I recall filling out a general information card like that at one time at doctor's office, but did NOT put down phone number, so they had to have looked that up.
Could barely understand her English and I had to talk over her to get her to stop talking long enough for me to inform her that the request had to have been from over a year ago, and that my mother, the diabetic, has passed away. She paused and said - "What about *****?" (my dad's name). I was dumbfounded for a moment, then said "Can I speak to your manager?" And she promptly hung up on me. She had not even offered a "Oh, I'm sorry" merely asked about the next possible target to her cold call.
I did not get the phone number that was called from, but the name of the company she gave was 'Access'.
