They said they are Kaiser

They said they are from Kaiser. Scam artist trying to get information from you. Like: financial info.

My wife recieved a call from these people that said they were from Kaiser. They got my wife's BD, Address, Medical record number. She has never experienced a call that this before and therefore did not know not to give them any info. They told her we owed 10 bucks from 2 years ago from the Pharmacy and wanted a CC number to pay for it right then. She knows now but I am sure they would have tried to get all the info they could have.

It was from "Kaiser Pharmacy" all right, wanted my husbands ssn.  If they had gotten that, they might have moved on to the CC but didn't get that far.  Guy said his name was "Roger"

SCAM - they did say Kaiser Pharmacy and asked questions just like Kaiser would.  When they wanted my ID # I asked what it was about and was told they could not inform me until they had all my information.  At that time I said I would call Kaiser directly. Both pharmacy and Member Services had no record of this being a Kaiser number.  I called Kaiser Fraud at 888-774-9100 to report.  hope they get this closed down so people do not get taken by them and give CC info

I received a surprise check from Kaiser that listed USCB RX REFUND and the phone number 800--720-6542 to call for questions.  Weird!

They called and said they were from Kaiser Pharmacy and that I owed a $5 copay from a visit a few years ago. I called Kaiser member services and they said I did not owe money, then they sent me over to kaiser pharmacy billing, and they also had NO RECORD of this $5 unpaid copay. So it is bogus in my opinion, definitely do not give them any CC or other financial info.

I also received a surprise check with this number to call for questions.... weird.

Just got a message from a woman with an Indian accent saying she's from Kaiser and wanted to talk to me about my "balance."  She knew my full name.  Thanks for all the info.  I just deleted the message.

Called and left a voicemail saying "Good morning, this message is for <my name>. I'm calling from Kaiser Permanente in regards to your pharmacy billing matter. Please return the call at 800-720-6542. We're here Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Thank you."
Since I've never had a "pharmacy billing matter", I googled the number and got here.
Scam, I'm sure - I'd like to know how they got my name and knew I had Kaiser.

I just received that same call and it's now Dec., 2016. Apparently, these people have not been stopped.

I got the same call. This is a criminal organization BEWARE! I'm not sure how to report them 800 720-6542 is the number that called. I'm sorry for all of the people become victims of fraud from this.

I got a $23 check from them with this number also. Perhaps it is for some people to post like here to make it seem real??? Who knows but if it is KP then THEY need to fix their system and let us know it is real or not.

PS: The phone number on the check is 626 381-2200 and says it is from KP

Had an outstanding bill with Kaiser pharmacy, got a call from this number but didn't pick up. Looked at outstanding bill and number is listed as the number to call.

Tina called a few minutes ago and left a voicemail. Unbelievable this scam is still going on.

I also got a call several days in a row saying they were from a collection agency  attempting to collect a debt. I called and spoke to "Gina" who told me I owed $111 for past prescriptions. I told her it was not possible I owed anything to Kaiser pharmacy. She did take my Kaiser number, put me on hold and came back a minute later saying it was probably a "coding error" or something and that they would recall the debt collection and everything would be resolved with no further action from me. If I had thought to look here first I would never have called, but I did want those daily calls to stop, which they have.

My name is eleanor wong. And I want to go tell you that I have some problems with my Kaiser pharmacy when I pickup medicine is not free. Because My Kaiser card a is a la care. And it does really have to be free when I pickup my seroquel medicine.  But they didn't give me for free. Always telling me I need to go paid for $ 15.00 dollars.  They always have been doing this to me  many times. Only sometimes free and i dont have to need to paid. And sometimes not free. Always making me do really have to go paid  them some money $15.00 dollars.

Baldwin park pharmacy and the west covina pharmacy is the same. Always not giving me free. Only sometimes free

As much as everyone saying this is a scam caller, I called Kaiser member services and they verified this as the Kaiser Pharmacy billing center. When you call them, they will ask for your Kaiser number then verify that the information in their system is correct. They were able to tell me when the charges incurred and for what the meds were. The reason I didn’t receive a bill is because they were sending it to an address that is 5 years old.
