Chronic Care Solutions

Must be them?- Caller: Chronic Care Solutions
- RDroc| 4 repliesCCS Medical is a reputable company that sells and services medical equipment such as insulin pums and infusion supplies. They are NOT a creditor or collection agency, nor do they make cold telemarketing calls. They only call you if you contact them first, or if you are getting a medical device and your health insurance company gives them the OK to process your medical supply order.
So fear not, this number is GOOD.- Caller: CCS Medical

- exccs replies to Rob| 1 replyPlease do not take the advise. I worked there for 8 years. You are only a number. And will not treat you as a person. You will be passed around from dept to dept, its annoying. Long hold times , just google the name and see the many unhappy customer comments. They are like liberty. They only want your insurance money and whatever co-pays they can make you pay!!! please beware.
- bdl replies to exccsI use them for my insulim pump supplies and have never had a problem with them.
- mtn gap replies to RDrocthis is a pain in the rump company that overcharges for medical supplies after being paid by medicare. If they can read this email, I am on record that ALL charges must be received by Jan 31, 2009, just like all receipts for income tax purposes. It appears that the only way they can send a bill for goods shipped way back in January of this year, is if they can continue to supply you on a continual basis. I have found that I can get the same supplies off of EBay at a lesser price than what this company is billing. I will not answer their repeated phone calls-----3 to 6 per day-----showing only a Toll Free Number as their I.D.
If they persist----then I will use the oft used statement-----"Give me "LIBERTY"-----etc. (hope you get the message) - Shelda TreadwellThey call at least 3 times a day

- mtn gapI received a statement from my insurer showing that this company billed medicare for $149.00 for equipment purchase; (for diabetes). In reality, all they supplied was a 90 day supply of glucose strips for which they were paid $73.88. I can go to Wal-Mart and buy the same amount of the same strips for a lesser price. It now appears that they will someday try to bill me for the difference. Lots of luck! Bring it on!! Try it, and the next person you will talk to will be my attorney!!! If you don't answer they will not leave a message so it leaves you to think they are just relentless telemarketers.
They were the meanest rudest people.
I advise that no one dare give them credit card info
They could telemarket you forever
They were so nasty on the phone that I will never do business with them, nor will any member of my family.
Don't let them tell you HIPAA law stops your telephone number from being removed from their call list. Demand a supervisor and they will remove your number. By the way, when you call them your telephone number shows up on their caller ID.- Caller: CCS MEDICAL

- J Johnson| 1 replyThey've been very nice to me, with timely reminders to order what I need when I need it. It's not expensive since they take most of their payments from Medicare Part B, something that gets taken of my disability income anyway so now there's a use for that payment. Sorry to hear that they've mistreated anyone.

- leeleethis company called me after my husband began to need to test his blood sugar. I told them I wanted to do some research for the most cost effective (for me, not them) way of getting his supplies. Theirs are 100 dollars every three months after what is billed to insurance. I called my insurancecompany, and I can get the stuff for a less than 10 dollar a month copay. Anyway, they keep calling, although I told them I would next week let them know which way we decided to go with this. I guess it will be worse when I tell them I did my research.

- purrhosMany, many dead calls. No answer.
I do get strips from them for blood glucose.
I will check with my pharmacy.
Thanks to all who are reporting... - Phil replies to RDrocnot they are not reputable... They have taken money from my account without authorization, Thank God we check it and got the money back.. And they still call even after we have refused their mail, calls and asked them not to call..
- JoyceCall several times a day and hang up when answered.
- J.S. IN PHILAA word to the wise!----- Save yourself some aggravation, all I get is lancets and test strips, I ordered a 3 month supply, what happens? , after a month or 2, I start getting automated phone calls from them! , mostly at night 8-9pm , mind u I still have over a months supply left! and they hound me until I contact them, then I gotta chew um out wanting to know why they want to renew the order so early. They don't seem to know how to run their company, and I have complained to a supervisor in C.S. and threatened to leave them if I ever got another phone call, which is what I will now do! Unbelievable! I ought to sue em for raising my stress level! , which is bad for diabetics! I told them over and over, don't call me, I'll call you when I need my supplies, I hope they go out of business! so they can't annoy anyone else!

- jrkeller replies to kent, OHYES. they are a reputable company. I just received a call from them today regarding reordering my mom's diabetic strips that are 100% paid for by her medicare insurance. NO complaints here.
- RevD| 1 replyThis is a reputable company. I have used them for 2 years, and they only call to clarify an order for medical supplies or to ask a legitimate question re insurance billing. They supply medical equipment for chronic care-- they are NOT spammers! It seems some people are angry that they need to make a copayment for charges over their medicare payments... lucky you HAVE medicare, many of us do not!
