Progressive Financial Services.  Called them back and I let them know that I wasn't the person they were looking for (collections) and they took my number off their list immediately.

They have called my office 4 days in a row. No one is ever on the other end!

Idiots can't figure out they're talking to an answering machine

Total Scam caller from 800-731-0238. Called my cell phone over lunch hour. Asked for the last four of my SS. I didn't give it! Then asked for my birthday. I said the year I was born. Then they stated my name as first name middle initial and last name. Which they had correct, but they were looking for someone with my name born in 1941 which is NOT ME. And then they said they must have the wrong contact to which I hung up. The caller was female, not professional sounding, and from Progressive Financial Services.

These idiots called me today twice.  I don't pick up 800 numbers during business hours as I am aware they are most likely telemarketers.  And these idiots did not leave any message both times.

"i called them" to see how much i owed and i tried to be super nice about everything since im a telemarketer myself (not the bad one), and ended up ready to choke the B**** over the phone. no i dont want to update any of my info because i dont want some [***] coming to the home of the nice people who let me stay with them til i get back on my feet. I told her that i didnt want to make payments, i want to pay in full and i get payed in 3 days so i will contact them but she still tried to force her way. I understand people have a job to do and policies to follow but if you are talking to a client that is ready to pay in a understanding way and you are trying to force your way through, please understand that 90% of us americans own weapons. Im 24 and a father of 2 kids both not even over 3 years old, if your going to track me down and take away from this nice couple who is helping me and my kids im sure you will be short of one collector.

they keep calling for my son and when I had him call them back all they wanted was his full SS# and he hung up. Now they keep calling my house and I got mad and told them that I never ever give out any phone #s and this b**** got very mad when I told her to quit calling my phone # and just hung up. How stuid do these people think  we all are. No one should ever give out their SS# especially over a phone.

they are a legit company, they are not insurance company they are debt collectors, i had a debt there and they worked with me to do monthly payments because i have 3 kids to take care of and im a single mom. my  ex boyfriend had always drove my car and got a ton of tickets but since the car is in my name i have to pay for it, which i dont think is right but thats what the county and state of minnesota said so no point in fighting in. they are not a bad company. they actually helped me and treated me like a person not like some other collection agencies i have dealt with.

You're a shill, that makes you barely a person. No one around here is falling for your filthy extortion SCAM so go back to the boiler room and hope the next sucker you call hasn't read about you crooks on this page.

I missed the call. I called them back and they immediately asked for my social. I said I dont give that out. They then asked for my name and what number they called... I gave them both. They said they dont have any information under either my name or number. well HTF did you call me then?? SCAMMERS

I got the call from "Progressive Financial Services" by a unprofessional female. They asking me about someone by the name of Jade and I wasn't the person they're looking for. They will asking stupid questions about personal background history - where you work, SS#, birthplace, etc. I heard some laughter in the background so I realized it's kind of a scam or a prank.

This is a rude debt collector for the state of minnesota. I owed taxes and a late parking ticket. When I took their call the woman was very rude and wanted my social security number but wouldnt tell me what it was concerning. I refused to give personal information over the phone and she was not happy about it. Once I called the state I found out they had rolled my debt over to this company Progressive Financial Services. So I guess they are not a scam, just aggressive and dumb.

This number appears to be a debt collection company that that State of Minnesota rolled over the debt to. Progressive Financial Services - very tenacious. Too bad the government isn't using them to go after Wall Street traders who broke the economy. They are living high on their executive bonuses, immune from the law, and free from these scum-bag companies.

it's THEY'RE, (they are) not THEIR -  which is possessive.  I suppose it depends on what you want to imply; could be either spelling, maybe.

They call my phone once a day never leave a message. I told them I was not the person they are looking for and they hung up on me and keep calling. Very very rude scam be CAREFUL.
