- Caller: Sears
- JoelSears calling to confirm an appointment. Although the first three times I answered the call, there was no reply or recording. I said hello a couple times. On the forth call knowing it should be Sears I waited about 15 seconds before a recording came on to ask me if I spoke English or Spanish.

- CodyMcd| 1 replyYes, it's Sears calling to provide time frame and verify address. It would be very nice if Sears would identify themselves as the caller on customers Caller ID's.
I do not answer calls from UNAVAILABLE callers.- Caller: Sears

- miker replies to CodyMcdI agree. My call blocking software automatically zaps any call using "TOLL FREE SERVICE" as a caller id. They're quite stupid, aren't they.
- DonnaSWe initially had a bad experience. The original delivery men were not very good and the machines were faulty. But everyone in the store, as well as the tech, and the second delivery man who came to bring replacement appliances to us were amazing. They went above and beyond with us and what we were experiencing. We could not ask for better customer service. It did take talking with the salesman and manager to resolve, but they were great. We remained patient and they were very kind,

- AngelaI keep getting calls from this number. There was a home delivery from Sears for a person I've never heard of. I was concerned that they were going to miss their delivery. I called the number back to tell them the number was incorrect. They then asked for my name which I thought was odd. Most people would just take the number out of the system. Now I have people calling with my name for a home delivery. I called again today and asked them to take my name out of the system. I've had 10 calls in 5 days. It is very annoying.
- Caller: Sears
- AnneDefinitely Sears delivery. I called back and got an automated message regarding my delivery window.

- Bev| 1 replyI received a call from this number on my cell phone. they said they would deliver our order from 1-3 pm friday. Neither my husband nor I ordered anything. How did they get our cell phone number? We don't give our cell phone numbers out to businesses or strangers.
- Caller: Sears
- SamanthaSome sort of automated call from Sears but nobody said anything. Called 8 times in 38 minutes. I stayed on the line once for 5 minutes and just heard clicking. Called next morning from their cell phone and told me my delivery would be by 9:30AM and was. The automated system just doesn't work so my guess is the system occasionally dials wrong number.

- Lee| 1 replyI didn't answer the "800#" as I've been getting "insurance sales" calls. But then I wondered if Sears would really be so nutty to call from an "800#" and not have its name attached to the #,,, So I googled the # and saw it indeed was Sears.
The # called immediately back and had an automated Q&A for me.
I found this whole scene very annoying - I just spent quite a bit of money on a washer & dryer - Can't a "person" call me?!
I maybe could have just blown it off, BUT then that crazy thing said I had to speak with someone to confirm what was to be delivered. It then put me on HOLD! So now I'm jailed to my phone,,, If a person had just called in the first place I'd have been done with the call already! I'm sorry, WHO is supposed to have been given the "convenience"?? You'd think the CUSTOMER - HA!
The hold-from-h*ll continues on and on,,, finally a woman picks up my line but asks ME what is the reason *I* am calling them! Nice,,, sigh,,,
This really puts me over the line in that I'll look ANYWHERE else other than Sears for all future appliances.
The audacity to call a customer and put them on hold! Then ask me why I'm calling?! Really?!
SEARS: Get rid of that crap automation and get some better customer service for gosh sakes!! If I'm to end up talking to a person anyway, then don't annoy the crap out of me with crazy automated Q&A, HOLD & then a person who has no clue all that happened and makes me run thru it all again! FAIL!!!- Caller: Sears

- FagenThis number is for Sears delivery. Unfortunately I was called at 4:45AM to tell me my mattress would be delivered between 8:30AM and 10AM. I did talk to a person. But later I called the Sears delivery number because no one showed up. I was given another time of 10:30-1:30. Another call, another time. Finally the delivery man himself called and said he'd be here in about 10 minutes. He showed up 5 minutes later and said that I wasn't on the delivery schedule. None of this was his fault and he did such a nice job, I couldn't be angry with him.

Legit automated call from Sears to give me time frame when delivery of washer would be next day.
And they were right on time...- Call type: Event reminder
- Jformula replies to LeeI agree with having a person to do the calls. From 1993 to 2000 a person did do the calls but Sears made a move to automation to save money.
