Call rcd about how I could reduce the fees or charges for using my credit card. Then a male answered & I asked to have my name taken off their list or I would report them. He said who are you going to report me to. He said he would call me again & again because this is a random dialed call.

This tops all.  My caller ID said the call was from myself -- my own phone number calling my own phone!  So I picked up to see who these dirt bags are, got the "credit card interest rate" automated spiel and pressed 9 to speak to an actual dirt bag.  I immediately asked for a call back number and was given 1/800/739-8255.  I then asked the name of the company and was told by a man with a very heavy accent (sounded middle Eastern but I couldn't place it,) that it was Dunkin' Donuts!  I said I didn't believe him for a second and he became very abusive.  I said I was reporting him to the FCC and hung up.  A reverse phone number look up said the number originated in California but there was no other information available.
    • Caller: definitely not Dunkin' Donuts!

More of the same story everyone else has reported.  Caller ID shows call from my phone #.  Be aware.  Do Not give any information to these people.  I wonder if we should have even answered the phone.  I am calling all of my credit card companies and put a fraud alert on my cards.

I just had the same thing happen to me today...a call came in and the caller id was my face and number. I answered it and it was a middle eastern sounding man. I asked him to remove my number from their call list and he told me that I would have to call this number 18007398255 to be removed. I called the number and it was a sex line. I immediately hung up and contacted my cell phone provide and reported it. I am with ATT and they said they were aware of the calls and they were trying to track down all numbers associated with the people placing these calls.

So some random guy texted me " my female sex toy". Immediately I asked who it was and the guy told me he got my name off of a sex talk chat line. I then asked for the number he contacted to get my number. He told me it was 1-800-739-8255.

I asked to have my phone # removed from the call list and the screener asked me how old I was.  When I refused to tell him my age, he said "I'm only asking how old you are, not your size."  He had a very heavy Indian accent and was very hard to understand.  Rude!

When I asked to be removed from the calling list I was told "shut up ".  I asked to talk w/ a supervisor & was told he is the only one there. I could hear people in the back ground. He told me I am hearing things. The # he gave me in the beginning was a sex line   .  They were calling to lower out interest rates.

I just got a call from the this same middle eastern man. Said he was calling from Georgia, and that he was trying to lower my interest rates on my Mastercard and Visa. I explained to him that I do not own a MC or VISA, he said what do you have I said I have AmEx. He said does your card start with 37? ALL AMEX START WITH 37. He told me he wanted to do unmentionable things with me. And then told me that I was ugly and something else I could not understand. I said well if I punch your mother in the face wouldn't that put her in the same boat as me "UGLY" he told me to shut the F up and a few other things. That he was going to visit me at my home and F me all night long.

The recording offered me a better deal on credit card interest rate.  When I pressed "9" to speak to an agent to get my name off the list, the man with a foreign accent was puzzled.  I asked him the name of the company, then asked him to spell it, and then asked for the number.  I told him to get my number off his call list.  I think the person on the recording said she was from Card Holder Services.

I received a call which showed up as my phone number on my caller ID.  I asked the middle eastern man who they were and he said they were card member services.  He began asking personal financial questions about my credit card and interest rates..  I asked him to remove my name from their list and he said he could not and would not until I gave him my information.  He refused to remove my name from their list but did give me his phone number.  I call this harassment.  I get called from this number daily and it needs to STOP!!

Called using my own number! My number was on caller id...."spoofed".
Then it was the famous voice of Rachel from card holder services asking to press '9' to lower my interest rates...(apparently they are tired of people and answering machines making the '1'  sound and wasting their time.) well, I pressed '9' and an Indian fellow  gave me this number to call back.
