This call was from Carnival Vacation Club.

This is the direct line to the customer support department of Our Vacation Center, a company that books cruises for brands like RCI, ICE, CVC, etc.  More then likely if you get a call from this number you must of booked a cruise as the customer support department will only call people regarding any issues with there cruise, not a telemarketer, if they happen to call you and you didn't book a cruise it's possible someone did and gave them the wrong number.  I work for this department so I know.

Sam callled my cruise agency today to inquire about a cruise fare.
Why would someone who sells cruises call my on-line cruise agency?

I got this same call too.  This cruise agency called and said that they were a friend of a client who I had just booked and paid for.  They wanted the same price which I gladly gave.  Not 15 minutes later my client called to complain I overcharged her and that she got a better rate and wanted to cancel and rebook with this jerk.  The booking was in penalty so the $30 she would have saved would have been eaten up in the $250 penalty. In working out the details this agent would have made approximately $23 on the booking.  I had a feeling about that call and I stayed firm in my pricing.  This whole situation made me feel bad until I found this post.

This number keeps calling my house.  I don't answer and they don't leave a message.  I did not book any type of cruise with anyone.  I do belong to RCI though so am assuming they got my number from them.

I am so tired of seeing this number on my caller ID.  Then to top it off, they let the answering service pick up and then hang up after about 40 seconds.  I have reported them several times.  Please keep treporting this number.  Thank you!

I am sure they did it to verify your price so they could beat it. :)

This number is to ICE Vacation Club.  They appear to keep calling even after you tell them "no."

The call of 800-748-5177 calls repeately each day, every day. Sometimes no message, other times the message says they are calling about a certificate. I believe it is a telemarker

they keep calling my cell and telling me about great deals.  Why would I need them if I am already a member of RCI.  I think this company is not legitimate.

A woman from this number called my husband today. She said that we were nearing the end of our free year trial membership with ICE. She said she was on the phone today to help us take advantage of our free week and she wanted to book our week for us. She said that she could also help us get set up for payments for a 20 year membership for a great deal. Well, the problem is this. We did have a free membership with ICE, but it was for 2 years, not one. We did have a free week vacation, but it wasn't a cruise, it was at a resort, and we already took advantage of the free week vacation this last summer, and we also were offered a lifetime membership with ICE and we took advantage of that and paid all the payments and are now lifetime members of it and it is fully paid off for the rest of our lives. And, this is not offered anymore through ICE because this program has changed to Westgate Cruise and Travel instead of ICE. She said she couldn't find our membership with either my husband's name nor my name and that we couldn't be lifetime members because she couldn't find us in the database. Someone calling from 800-748-5177 also has called us repeatedly several times a week for the last few weeks, and we told them to quit calling us. If you call the number back and follow the prompts, it just hangs up. We also have never booked a cruise.  When calling Westgate Cruise and Travel, they are able to verify our lifetime membership and they say that it must be a scam that is calling us and for us to just ignore it. I think it is a scam, so if they call you tell them to quit calling.

Well, I finally got to the resolution of my issues stated above. After about 7 or 8 different customer service representatives, we were able to find that my husband and I had two active accounts with Westgate Cruise and Travel, one that showed our lifetime membership and one that did not show it. The phone calls that my husband had been receiving were notated on the account that was not linked up to the lifetime membership. The last representative was able to resolve the issues, and said we would not get anymore phone calls. We don't have a FREE vacation coming, just a discounted one, but at least the searching of the last representative puts credit and validity to this company that keeps calling. It just shows that there is a great difference in the service one can get in the same company through different representatives.  I like the service I finally got, and the answers she gave me.  Why can't all customer service representatives be as good as the last one that helped me? It took nearly an hour on the phone and several phone calls to get to the bottom of the situation.

I have NEVER booked a cruise with ANYONE, so your statement that is it a call about a cruise I booked is inaccurate!

Received a call from this number at 10:30 PM and my call blocker hung up on them.  Telemarketers are not legally supposed to call after 9 PM.  I called the number back and got a recording saying their offices are closed.

This number belongs to Pueblo Bonito Black Diamond Vacation Club. Not a fraud call. They only have your phone number through YOUR timeshare purchase.  They do not make cold calls.

Not interested in whatever they are trying to sale.

Calls cell phone and never responds when I answer.  Getting REALLY tired of this.  I just want to talk to them and find out what they want.
