This number belongs to MAS collection Co. who makes recorded phone calls from 1-800-741-2183 to say they are looking for whoever (usually not the person they are calling and usually the person they are calling has never heard of that person) - they try to sound real aggressive and scary (oh my!)
They want the person to call them back at 1-800-749-7710 to get wrung out over some debt they supposedly owe.  Who in their right mind would call them?
They have been calling my cell phone and leaving messages for over a year! Looks like they would know by now they have the wrong number.  Duh!
I am sick of them and their messages.  How do I get them to stop?

they called looking for my 5 year old child about a debt he owes.  how the hell does a 5 year old get debt?

I believe this is a scam operation and donotcall needs to get involved as well as the fca.  Don't give the caller the satisfaction of calling them back.

they called mentioning a debt for my 10-year-old. Library fine?

These people keep calling even though the person that they are calling for has never had this number, and even when you call them back to remove the phone number they don't.  Just got another call from them on my voice mail today.  Tomorrow I  am calling the FL State Attorney's Office to file a complaint.

Got a message from them today. Just a voice message that they've been trying to reach me. Funny this is the first call I ever got (from them). if it's a collection agency them just ell them not to call again or else they will be in violation of the "fair debt collection act" & they will be subject to a law suit if they ever call again which includes court cost & your legal fees. If that doesn't do it then call a free legal service & ask for an attorney to sue them.

They keep calling me over a dept that my health insurance had settled and paid since 2002.
They did not listen to me in 2002 and thay are not listening even now.

I keep getting the # 800-749-7710 call over and over on my answering machine asking for jeanis peterson, from Mas collection???  When I actually answer this call it is always a voice automated system, and I press 2 for the co. to take me off their list as they must have the wrong #.....  But this keeps continuing...  My husband spoke to someone at this company, and told them to stop calling our #, but it still has NOT stopped....  What can I do to stop this harrassment????  We do not know anyone by this name and we do not owe anyone anything....!!  The recording says it will take our # off the list, but they have not done this yet....

Have received 2 calls since last night. Have no idea who they are other than a questionable collections agency. They got my name wrong so I am sure they are phony. We just hang up on them.

They called both lines in my house - different phone numbers - I am not sure what this company is up to, but it sure seems suspicious to me.

When I answered the phone, NOTHING... not even an automated message - I stayed on a little bit too just to see what the call was about - dead silence.

These guys are shady dealers and scammers and if you get a call from them file a 1088 Complaint with the FCC at https://esupport.fcc.gov/form1088/consumer.do and if you are on the National Do Not Call List, file a Complaint at https://www.donotcall.gov/default.aspx.

If the government gets enough complaints from you, we can put these guys out of business.

They called me twice in the last 2 days. They aren't even leaving me a message, so I have no clue who they are looking for.

Same S**** different day.  These companies that PURCHASE written of debts are just trying to get you to acknowledge the debt.  If it is a written off debt and they can get you to start paying they collect5 all the money you send.  Double edge sword be careful

my first call from this number.... i owe no late bills... how do i get them to stop?

They call and ask for a person, willing to leave a message. I asked the to identify themselves and get the answer:
This is Mrs. Hill from MAS.
She refused to say anymore, so I hung up.
Withing minutes they called back. My husband answered. This time it was a guy. When he was stubborn with info about his identity, my husband hung up.
I have read about this number before, they're trying to steal identities or phone numbers. Be careful.

Keeps calling looking for a Mary Rooney. These morons at MAS Collection cannot understand the English language that the person is affiliated with the number..

We have had about 20 calls from these guys in the last few months.  They ask to speak to my wife and are pretty aggressive - they state that they are calling about settling a debt.  Our alleged debt is for 10,000 dollars owed to the Florida Light Company.  Funny, we live in Oklahoma and owe nothing to these guys.

Sounds like a scam...

I keep getting calls for my brother Dennis Wells, and he does not live with me. We don't even live in the same county. He does not have an phone right now, so please take me off your list. I have requested this before and your customer service reprersentatives provide everything but  courtesy. Please do not call me again.
