The woman said she was from Neiman Marcus and that my account was in bad standing.  When I told her I did not have an account with them she said that she needed my social security number to verify the information she had.  When I wouldn't give it to her she said that I should call her back at 800-753-0407 x2344

lady named Naomi keeps calling and leaving messages (a few times a day) on my voicemail at my job asking me to return the call at 1-800-753-0407, sometimes the messages are rude. when i call back, i get a recording that says "thank you for calling the national corrections office for Neiman Marcus, we are on other calls right now please hold". i never talk to anyone because i'm always on hold for to long so i hang up.

A "Mrs. Reyna" called from this number -- or so it appeared -- on 3 August 2007 1:55 pm EDT, asking to speak with my wife. I offered to ask my wife to call "Mrs. Reyna" back, and asked which company she was with. She refused to tell me. When I asked to speak with her supervisor, she hung up on me. Obviously this isn't really Neiman Marcus.

Neiman Marcus calling...I missed a payment...a week after it was due they started calling.  A bit harrassing if you ask me...people do screw up sometimes and don't get a payment out or out on time.  I sent my payment in after their first phone call and it took two weeks before they processed it and the calls stopped.  Decided to close the account, they are a bit too crazed with their credit practices for my taste. I just don't like the implication that the moment your late with a payment, they consider you a deadbeat that they will harrass you constantly (and I consider 4+ calls a day to both my home and cell phone harrassing).  That'll teach me to misplace a bill again though!

I missed a payment with Neiman Marcus while I was on an overseas business trip.  I scheduled the payment online, but they kept calling.  I was getting 5-10 calls a day on my cell and home number even though the payment was being processed.  The calls started at 845am and ended at 950pm every day even though I was only 7 days late on the payment.  I can understand them calling me repeatedly if I was delinquent and had a large balance, but we're talking about a $50 credit card balance.

Daily calls.  As a practice I will not answer an 800 number call.  Wish they would give it up.  I'm sure that calls are computer generated and not dialed.  The parties responsible should be legally delt with for fraud based on what I've read above and privacy infringement.

Debt collectors are exempt from the "Do Not Call" Registry. The only way to stop them from calling is to send them a Cease Communication letter.

I have received several calls from this number for the past week.  One time I answered and heard a recording saying that this was a very important call and I should hold in order to speak to someone.  I hung up, and the calls have continued.
I called the number today and spoke to a Mrs. Reyna.  She said it was the credit and collections department for Neiman Marcus & Bergdorf Goodman.  I told her I had received a bunch of calls from this number, and she asked if I had an account with either of those stores.  I said no, and she looked up my phone number and asked if my name was something entirely different than what it is.  I said no, and she apologized and said that they had the wrong phone number for a consumer and she would remove my number from the database.

I get calls multiple times a day at work and at home with this number.  I checked my account and it did not say it was deliquent.  In fact, I have a payment scheduled with them.  It has been various callers identifying themselves as Neiman Marcus.

My wish is that they would limit it to one phone call a day.  Once I called them and they wanted me to tell them the name of my employer and give them the human resources number.  I told them no, politely.  That is confidential information. At one time, one payment was overdue (by two weeks) due to emergency circumstances and had told them about it. Now I am current with my account. Even my credit report is clear.  Strange.

My husband got a call at his office saying it was Neiman Marcus.  My husband called me to ask if we owed anything which I have not in well over a year. I called and got the recording a few times but then got thru.  The woman asked for my number and had my account with a zero balance.  She asked if I had another account with HSBC like Dell which we do.  Sounded professional. I asked why they would call my husband at work and she aksed for his number which I would not give her.   I figured if she had all of my account numbers then and home phone.. then wouldn't his work number be included in that info? Seemed weird to me.

888-753-0407 called my office, asked for me by name and left a message on my voice mail at work that my online order at Neiman Marcus was ready. Never placed an order with NM. I called customer service phone number on NM website to find out what was going on & was told that there had been an order placed in my name but that it was cancelled & was never charged to any credit card account.

I have received multiple phone calls from this telephone number on my cellphone but as I don't recognize the number, I have not answered any of them and they don't leave a voice mail.  This happens on a daily basis at least once of twice.

They call at least 4 times a day. I never answer.
I did call the 800-753-0407 just to see who had been trying so hard to reach me.
It was Neiman-Marcus, same story as the rest of you.
I've never had a NM card and I'm guessing the nearest store in 200 miles from where I live.

They called again this morning. Wanted to talk to my husband. Would not talk to me.
I asked who was calling and she said Neiman Marcus. I told her we do not have an account there and she told me, YES WE DID.
The nearest store is 200 miles away and my husband would not have a clue who Neiman Marcus is or what he was.
So I wrote to Neiman Marcus at this address and told them to stop calling me and that we did not have an account there
Here is the address to their customer service:
