I didn't pick up the phone, but I called the number back (my work phone is blocked)and heard the it was Progressive Car Insurance. I'm guessing since they didn't leave a message, and I don't have a car, it is a Telemarketer call.

I called back and the first thing they asked for was my social security number. I asked who they were or who they were associated with before I just have out personal information like that. They said the were progressive financial services. I'm assuming its a debt collecter but I had never even heard of the person they were looking for. Or why my cell number was on that persons file. They said they would remove it.

They called my cell phone looking for my 70 year old uncle, they said he owed $5K for student loans from 1970?  Emailed my uncle living in Korea and he said it's a scam....

It was one of the most rude greeting I have had with a caller he called out the last four digits of a social security and a name .  I asked who was it he continued to be rude so I hung up the line in his ear. Never identified himself.

Called yesterday and again today.  Sent to voicemail but they didn't leave any.

Progressive Financial.  They service student loans for US Dept of Education.

This is Progressive Finance, they service default student loans. I have had great success in working with them. They have always been very professional and knowledgeable of what needs to be done to get yourself out of default.

These [***] are part of George Soros Empire also Progressive Insurance and many other companies controlled by this Communist [***] . Oh yes he pulls his puppet Obama`s strings too .

Calls multiple times a day, never leaves a message. They are calling a number I've never given out, so it's either a wrong number or a telemarketer. (A number of others have said this is for defaulted student loans, which I've never had.)

these people are so rude! And scam artists! They say I owe for a student loan but are claiming a different loan company then the one I use, and a wrong amount! Don't be quick to give your info!

dude called me asking for some one else, he said I was lying and he "got" the number from the file.  I said your [***] file is wrong.

Progressive Financial, Student Loan Debt Collector?  Never ever had a student loan, haven't owed anyone a dime in well over 10 years!  So one must conclude they are really scammers phishing for information to use elsewhere.  Now blocked via Call Sentry.

Progressive calls and says they are verifying employment and then ask for my social security number. I just transferred to this office and this is a new location for the business. I don't know who they are trying to scam and have asked repeatedly that they not call but they don't listen.

Received call from a rude woman asking for trevoe I advised she had wrong # I don't know of any trevor she then continued harassing me asking where is trevor I then got upset & said I don't know a trevor then hung up...she didnt state where she was from.

I been getting numerous call from this number and not leaving any messages.  I never return any of the calls since the number is unknown to me. It's getting irritating when the caller does not stop. I'm hopeful by not answering their calls the caller will get tired of calling.

Lol they called me and I pretended to be british and said I didn't know whom they were calling for (it was me)  she laughed at me and said OK hahahhahhaha

They will not stop Student Loan ppl are horrendous they are crazy they somehow got my work number and I dont have a personal line i work at a blood lab and it was embarrassing i told them to NEVER call me at work again Now they're blowing up my cell do you owe Student loans??
