I also recieved a call from them and said I wasn't really interested, but he kept calling me back.  I hung up on him, but he just kept calling until I just let him get the voicemail then he stopped. I don't know if I should call him back. He said his name was Fredrick Thomas and his position was the Creative Director...Do you know who called you?

I got a call from that number yesterday... the voicemail mssg was from "Lester" the "Creative Director" at "Excel Talent" and they were interested in my modeling for them.  This guy had a thick accent- possibly from India or vicinity.  I didn't call back because I have never heard of that agency & was wondering why the "creative director" would be the one to call if they were legit.  I don't know where they got my # from.  Today I googled the 800# & here I am.  Glad I did!

Someone called for acting auditions. They named my boyfriend and I, by first and last name. I had been searching the web, the day before, looking for talent agencies and casting auditions. I put my boyfriend number down as an additionl number, but I didnt give in his name. When they called, they called his number, and asked for me. A woman introduced her self as Celin and said "We are calling Nakia for an audition." My boyfriend said what kind for audition. And she said "Any type." And he said "Acting? Comercial? Voice Over?". And then the person on the other end said "Yea. All of those. She just has to give us some basic information. Full name, address, phone number, email, credit card number, and we can start working for her immediately." My boyfriend asked "Just like that? You dont want to meet her, or see what she looks like, or what talents she has?" And then she asked him if he would like to audition also. And he just said he'll give me the message, then hung up. I didnt take it seriously cause it sounded suspicious. I didnt think it was real, so i paid it no mind. I ran across the # again today, and was bored, so I googled it. I ended up here, and I'm glad for it.

I got a message on the answering machine from them. I could barely understand the guy. He sounded middle eastern. He attempted to say my name, but totally failed, and said they were looking for models/actors, and that I should call them back. I was thinking about it, and it didn't seem right. Agencies usually don't call people they don't know out of the blue! I was supicious and found this, so thanks for all the info.

Got a message from Kenneth the "creative director" on my cell phone, message stated that my profile has been chosen form some acting & modeling and to call him back at this number.  I called, rings twice and then I get a busy signal; man's accent was of foreign descent but cannot distinguish which one.  I had been online searching for acting/modeling jobs recently at following website, this is the only way they could have gotten my information:  http://www.myactingagent.com

I just got a call from that number (1-800-763-8303) as well. He said his name was Josh Brown or something. He sounded Mexican, offering me an audition for Acting/Modeling/Commercial. He said "Hello. Our searches matched your profile" but I don't remember having a profile in acting!

I got a v-mail from someone saying to call 1-800-763-8303 saying that they wanted me to act.  I remember checking out a casting site for acting - but once I saw that there was a fee - I left the site - without uploading my pics.  When I called the number, they said I would be perfect for the commercial they wanted me to be in - I just needed to go back to the site and get a subscription!  LOL  She never even saw me - yet I was perfect for the audition she was casting for!  One big SCAM!

It came up Unavailable so I didn't answer it. There was a few seconds before the message started and I could voices, like a call cente. He left a message for "James" (I'm a woman) and said he was Josh Brown. He accent made it difficult to catch it all but the drift of the message is what everyone else has descibed. Mine was a wrong number but I figured I'd add my two cents anyway.

I received a call from a "George Brown" who was supposedly a creative director and wanted me to do a commercial or something, when he didn't even know anything about me. I knew something was wrong when he asked me for my address and I told him I wasn't going to give it to him until I had talked to my parents about everything. He was like "Why? I just need to send you the business cards" and I was like what business cards? And he never answered and I was like well you're not getting my address. So yeah this is a huge scam and I'm kind of worried that since I was on the phone with him for so long before I realized it was a scam that he could have done something through my phone, you know? I'm not exactly sure what he could have done lol but I'm just worried; does anybody know if scammers can gain any kind of information or anything via phone? Thanks!
