I didn't receive a phone call but .22 cents was missing out of my account so i went to the bank and some how my bank was able to come up with this phone number, so my bank calls it but its a dead line so they tell the Fraud and investigation department and they would be in contact with me shortly.

now thats not good enough for me so as soon as i got home i went to google and typed in "ADELE SERVICES Fraud" which led me to this site it also led me to the phone number the bank tried to call. I read the 1st few comments and immediately called my bank back to put a stop on my account.

I'm advising all to do the same.

Happened to me also .22 cents notice how it all happened on the 20th of november.

My wife noticed 22 cent charge on our Credit Union back account, supposedly from my debit card with Adele Services, NY.  I was traveling and hadn't used my debit card all week.  
Credit Union agreed it was suspicious, especially when the 800 number is disconnected.  We cancelled the card.
Contacted Equifax to put a 90 day Fraud Alert on my credit.

Saw this charge appear...ADELE SERVICES 8005789641 MELVILLE NY charged two days ago with a 0.26 approval then a release and then a completed transaction.

Canceled card immediately.

Same story here...a charge of .24$ in the Merchant Category:  Pet Shops - Pet Food. The only place I used my card to buy pet stuff was Petco...just wondering... and steaming at the same time :-(

The same thing happened to me today. I have never heard of these people and I was suspicious immediately, even though they charged only 0.23 cents. But, as soon as I noticed it on my online bank statement is when I decided to do an internet search on the information they gave my bank:

I don't recall them calling me, but since I get so many 800 calls all the time when I'm not home (and they never leave a message) I just delete the number from my Caller I.D. database. I have no idea how they got my banking info. It's too weird and scary and I canceled my card just now.

I too had a charge of .24 show up on my statement with the same information everyone else is reporting.  Called and canceled my VISA card ASAP!   Who knows how much they would try for the second time they stole money from me.

same story here, .23 charged today, adele services 800-764-8104.  Used card at Petco too, wonder if they've had a security breach.  Anyone else used their card at petco?

I have a charge on my debit card dated 11/20/08 for $0.25 from Adele Services and I don't have any idea who these people are!

Not acall but an unauthorized charge to my debit card.
Called bank and was told to cancel any and all debit cards. This company has my credit info.

I have excellent credit and I do not owe anyone a dime nor do I have any old collections and i've never had any collections. I too had a charge for $.23 show up on my bank account as a visa check card purchase on 11/19.  The charged cleared and postd on 11/22.  I called the bank this morning and I cancelled my card.  I also called Adele Services, Melville, NY 800-764-8104 and the phone number is no longer in service.  It is really scary to know that it is so easy for someone's identity and card information to be breached/stolen.

I was hit with a $.23 on my Visa on 11/20/2008 by the same company.  I know for a fact they've never called nor has any other telemarketer.  The problem is information is no longer secure.  Everyone thinks the government collects data on citizens but business and private entities collect far more than the government can or will.  Then they fail to secure it and this is what happens.  File a complaint at http://ic3.gov

I received a charge for .25 on 11/20/08. I will cancel the credit card Monday.

Also got hit for .25 by these crooks.  Canceled my debit card and had the charge removed.

Got a charge posted on my debit card for $0.21 on 11/20. Immediately canceled card with the bank. I just bought something from amazon.com on 11/19 so I'm wondering if I got hit with a click-jacking attempt (http://twit.tv/sn168) or if Amazon got hacked. I use Firefox 3.04 but I'm not using the add-on NoScript which I just might start using again.

They hit my credit and debit card from 2 different banks. I found it during a routine check on my accounts today. I have excellent credit and want to keep it that way, so I investigated further. THIS IS A SCAM. Cancel your cards immediately and file a complaint with the FBI Online credit fraud  website listed by several other posters. If they get enough complaints, hopefully they will take an active role in stopping these SOBs. Follow up with a call to your bank on Monday.  Copy and document everything to protect yourself. Dont blow it off because it is .24 cents. Once they get that, they start making larger charges to your account.

Get a .22 cent charge just posted yesterday. Cancelled the debit card last night with my bank. The bank mentioned a lot of complaints had been rendered with them already. I also filed with the internet crime peoples @ http://ic3.gov .

I may file more complaints with oter agencies, I suggest you do the same. It is really annoying to have to have done this - I now have to update all my information with all creditors and vendors. I think we should sue in a class action law suit if they are caught. Anyone out there a lawyer?

did you buy anothing from shopnbc or qvc lately?  Just trying to narrow it down.  I had .22 two days ago come out and same phone number.

I had a $.22 fraudulent charge on my Wachovia debit card on 11/20/2008 from Adele Services. I was told by Wachovia the company is a pet supply co out of Melville, NY and their number is 800.764.8104. I called and got a recording also. I cancelled my debit card today and filed a fraud complaint. I may go to fcc.gov next to see if I can file a complaint there.  Someone here asked about QVC and at another site someone mentioned Netflix. I use both of those. I was wondering if anyone else uses eith of these or if anybody else who has been zapped by these jerks contributed to the Obama campaign online?
