- LeslieSomeone called with a credit card offer. It's a telemarketing call.
- Call type: Telemarketer
- streborkb| 1 replyCalled at 10:30am on Tuesday morning.
I called the number back. I was informed it was Fifth-Third Bank with a credit card offer. I asked to be removed from their list and was transferred to 'Customer Service' to have my name removed. There I was asked to give the phone number I wish removed AND some IDENTIFICATION number (Driver's License or other ID). When I questioned this I was placed on hold for a supervisor. The original rep returned after approximately 2 minutes and said the supervisor had processed my request and I should receive no further calls.- Caller: Fifth-Third Bank

- PhilI got a phone call and there was nothing on the answering machine, and it made a sound that means they hung up. So I dialed *69 and it told me it was (800)767-8645 , so I called it back. They said "Hello this is Fifth Third Bank what can I help you with" and I hung up. Now they know how it feels :)

- MADELYN PRICEThey are calling our business over and over again and don't leave a message, we are on the Do Not Call list.

- LouiseI got the call from Fifth Third Bank regarding a credit card. I am also on the Do Not Call list, but I still got this call because I have an auto loan with them. However, when the loan is paid off, I will not have any further dealings with them because of their snotty attitude when I called with questions about the loan.

- Ed| 1 replyThey call and do not leave messages. I'm a 5/3 Bank client and am getting sick of all the upselling they must put their employees through. I can't make a deposit or withdrawal at the bank without being told of some new offer.I am also on the Do Not Call List!

- CarolThanks for the info. Seems I am googling phone numbers everyday. I have more to do when I am done with this one. I ignore all phone number that I have no personal relationship with. I have a car loan with Fifth Third. I never had any dealing with them before the car loan, but to tell you the truth just by the name I never wanted anything to do with them. I've been considering looking for another loan, but now I don't know with the economy in dire straits.
- Clear AirThis is Fifth Third Bank calling you with a credit card offer because you are already a customer. You probably also receive the same by mail too. It would not matter if you are on the Do Not Call list because you have an account with them, they have your phone number from that. I am also on the do not call list but I also have a car loan through them too. If you do not want the credit card offer then just tell them you don't want it and to take you off there calling list, please. I hope my information helps.

- xCaller doesn't leave message
- annoyedI didn't asked to be called, if there's a problem, they can send me a letter about something. Other wise to me it's a fraud phone call.
- Call type: Telemarketer
- jdfoijutpoadfisCaller didn't say anything when I answered the phone.
- TSNo Clue from my end. Doesn't leave message, so it's not important.
Even then there are some stupid solicitors who'll leave messages & they're not of interest of anything I've asked for. Some even go as far to say that they've talked to me before & have a file on me, which they're lying, but that's just in a recording to make you call them to find out what the sam hill is going on & then they have you. - TSThese people don't even give an answering machine time to even start to pick up the phone that they hang up the phone.
- TSDaily calls now & won't leave message. Hangs up before answering machine even picks up the call. Just lets phone ring 2 or 3 times & that's it.
- WJM| 1 replyJust got a call from 800-767-8645. When I told them the person they were asking for was at work, they immediately hung up. I think this is extremely rude!!~ They don't even give you a chance to ask them to put you on the Do Not Call list!!

- Rod is feed upThe Number is 800-767-8645 Says Fifth Third, But if you notice it is very short intro before your placed in que to speak to agent then they hang up on you, SOO I searched for the real Fifth Third Number called it, they stated after agent seached hid database that this is NOT a fifth third number. Had him check my accounts, no reason for them to be calling as I am ok, then he searched my phone number with collections just in case, they dont have any number matching mine.
So I called att and filed a report with the annoiance call dept. they will be checking into it. The real Fifth Third agent has turned the number over to their Security department for legal action. You need to call you phone company and report them as they stated it is a Phishing Sceam.- Caller: Fifth Third (Actually Capital Finance)
- TSGuess they've had enough break from calling & now it's starting up all over again the same way
- TSHas called 2 more times on 2 different days since I last reported this phone number on July 9, 2010.
Still the caller just hangs up. - TSCaller called again on July 14, 2010, I had only reported the one phone call.
Then caller calls again today.
Each time the caller lets the phone ring 3 times & hangs up.- Call type: Prank
- M.E.Well, good news, I apparently have my Google Voice number on file for my recent 5/3 car loan. Read as, I JUST made the 1st payment a couple of weeks ago and apparently if you make a 1st on time payment they think you want a credit card, I am assuming. Well, since it's an unknown caller, it didn't ring my phone and I had 2 missed calls and like everyone else, no message left. They have already made 2 calls in 1 days. All it took was the 2nd one and I've added them to my block list on Google Voice. So glad I have that option or I would be mad. I'd like to mention what I think only 1 or 2 other people did. Regardless if you are on the DNC list for your number, you can be called by people whom you already have business with. I'm sure this, in design is so they can contact you if you're not making payments or to see if you're happy with service. In reality, all they do is call you with telemarketing for other products (unless of course you're not paying on time, then they are bill collecting). Also, non-profits are allowed to call you as well regardless of DNC list status. You can, however, ask to be removed from the lists of those companies you do business with from any marketing/sales calls and you can ask organizations not to call you again. They initially have the right to do so though. Anyway, so glad I have GV. :)
