Received call but missed so called back.  Is Alliance Collection.  Transferred me to have someone pick up but got message they were to busy and to leave a message.

Experian has been hassling me about a debt that is NOT mine, even from another city.  They will not clear the records.  IC Systems has confirmed a NO MATCH on the birth data so I expect Experian is working with another collection to resolve.

Experian is engaging in fraudulent activity.

Called my cell phone and missed the call - called the number back and was trasferred to voice mail. Have no idea why I would get a call from a collector. I am not behind on anything.

Alliance One collecting for a gas bill. Utility companies are reclassifying past due amounts to "uncollectible" sooner; so they do not appear as a loss on their books (sold to collection agency). I actually never stopped making payments on the amount due. It just isn't fast enough for them.

Received a call from this company this morning.  On the voicemail they left, they had some trashy sounding woman leave a message for a call back.

Who the heck are they??!  And what the hell are they calling me for??!!!!

    Yeah, That's Right!
Some dude named Julian Mack is hasslin people from this number. He called just a few mins ago asking for me. My buddy answered, and asked him to take a message. Dude said it was "personal", and left his direct number... 866-888-6005 x6465. How about someone call and hassle him?! That would do me a huge favor!!

Alliance One, huh?? Why is it that collectors think that them calling and harassing, and my friends at that, is going to make me pay anything to anyone. If I had the money to pay, then don't you think I would have already done so?

    Get a clue!

Now I have your number and will NEVER answer a call from there again... stored under "POOOOP!" plain and simple... Looks like it's time to change my number again!

These people call my cell phone and my home incessantly. I told the lady this morning she's going on the "DO NO CALL LIST' to which she replied "That doesn't apply to me".......Is that a fact.......If you go to the National "DO NOT CALL" registry web site That site is controlled by the FCC which is a branch of the Government. They keep records of everything. You are basically giving up your privacy to a Government Agency. So which is worse? The hasseling phone calls or "BIG BROTHER" having all you private information in a Government data base that they can use for what ever they want. I'm going under ground. The Revolution is just around the corner.

A few suggestions to handle harassing phone calls -

If your current phone service provider won't give you an unlisted number for free, drop them and get a Net 10 prepaid phone from Walmart. There would be no link between your phone number and your name and it would eliminate most communication taxes.

Second put them on legal notice to cease harassing you. How? Check out the federal law (for free) at http://www.expertlaw.com/library/consumer/fair_debt_collection.html. There are free sample letters to write to your debtors and the collection agencys have time limits placed on them. You can get an attorney on a contingency basis that specializes in this type of legal action, They could wind up oweing you money.

I found this number by calling 5 other numbers.... it showed up on my credit report and I am trying to pay it. I have been hung up on 3 times in 20 minutes. It is my bill and they hang up on me when I try and pay it.. I can't pay it when they hang upone me. This is the most flawed system. They are ignorant and the Govt needs to monitor these issues.. bull [***]
