Called at 9:05pm EST and tried to claim I was on Central Standard Time.  Plus whoever it was placing this call sounded like they were from India.  I told them not to call again, and that they were in violation of consumer laws.

Workers from this Nissan collections agency keep calling my clinical practice number saying my name is on a car loan for a Ford Mustang with the principle loan holder being someone with my same last name but I do not know this person.  I tell the callers this over and over but they still keep calling.  I checked my credit report and found no such loan on my report.

I too receive numerous calls on my home phone asking for a Sharon Solomon.  My name is Susan and I have never owned a Nissan nor do I have a car loan with them.  They are harrasing me and I have sent them a letter with my attorney copied.  My next step is to report them to Channel 2, Rosann Colletti to help and to have my attorney handle the matter.

They keep calling asking for the name of someone i have never heard of! No one in my family has ever owned a Nissan.

i've told them several times to take my name off their list and that they have the wrong number!

they keep calling twice a day, 5 days a week for 2 weeks now. I'm in class so i can't answer it!
This happened when I got my new phone although I kept my same phone number.

I don’t know what to do or how to block the number.

Yes, when i called number back i pushed 3 for "other" (not customer, not another company)

The first thing they asked for was my social security number.
Then when i told them to take my name off their lists they mumbled something i didn't understand and hung up.

It is Nissan Motor Credit. Yes.... I am past due, but still within my grace period. The callers are from India. You cannot understand a word they mumble. They do ask to verify your social security number. If they say they are who they are..... I told them then you tell me my social security number, and I will verify it for you. They hung up on me. Never again will I finance with them. Love my car. Cannot stand their finance dept.

Nissan keeps calling for someone who does not live here.  They have demanded I give them my Social Security Number which I refuse to do.  Another family member has a loan with them but does not live with me.  Most of the times they have called, my relative checks his bank and check has already gone through.  Also, Nissan either hold checks or doesn't notify their India callers a payment has been received.  The people from India are hard to understand and just keep requesting SSN.  Today they demanded I provide them with relative's phone number which they should already have - it has not changed.  Also, the check went through last week.

How about they continue to call me daily for weeks now, and um MY CAR IS PAID OFF as of two months ago!!! I've tried everything under the sun to get them to stop calling me, even told them to contact NMAC directly and they get mad and start screaming "English" something at me, then they'll hang up, and another person will call right back. Sometimes 4-5 calls back to back to back. It's sooo frustrating. I love my car to death, wouldn't trade it or anything, but give me a break.

It is Nissan Corp. I received my last bill last month (Sept) and it was $220.00 over my regular monthly payment; I called them and explained to them that I did not have the extra $220.00, and asked if it would be ok to pay my regular payment of $360.00 now (by Nov. 05, 2010) and difference by Oct. 25, the woman told me it was just fine, I asked if it wouldn't affect my credit in any way or anything like that, she said no, it would be ok; today I received a call at work, they didn't even try my cellphone number which they have on file, and after a few minutes explaining what I did, the guy told me that they need to receive this money by Oct 24 or the account will be send to collection. that is SOOOO STUPID, after 6 years paying for my car on time, would I risk to lose it for a stupid amount of $220.00 !!!    I need to send the money by Oct 16 to be in good shape.
What bothers me a lot is that no matter who do you call or what do people tell you, it's like you never win !!
Thank God it's my last payment and I will have this money to send on time, but what about my phonecall a month ago ???

When you buy a car from Nissan and you're being financed through Nissan Motor Acceptance Corps. DO NOT LET THEM FINANCE YOU THROUGH THAT COMPANY. They will accept any credit score just to get you financed, they don't care if you can afford it or not, they just finance you no matter what. I had a 07 Nissan 350z Nismo, and had a trade in for the Z-car. I was negative 4k dollars but I said it was fine added on top on $38k that the 350z was price tag. I had a pretty decent job that paid well until I was lay off from my work. When I got lay off, I called them to and asked them to see if they can do a loan modification, because I was paying $899.00 a month and being unemployed, I wont be able to pay 900 bucks a month. They hang up and wont even talk to be. I was delinquent for a few months until they called and said they would skip a month for me if I paid for 2 months. I took some of my savings and paid $1800 for 2 months. got a little relief. It didn't last long, I tried to make a deal with them that the car has $32,000 left over and if they were to sell the car at an auction after repo then they won't get [***]. I even told them I foreclosed my house that was $1800/month and they wont even help reduce my payment on the car. They want me to keep paying, I told them, If they won't even help then reduce the car payment then I'll just let them come get the car. At this point I didn't care if they repo the car, I'll just file bankruptcy so they wont get [***] from me after they repo the car since it isn't worth [***] anyway. In my position, it was all worth it, because they called again and wanted to give me the car back for a lower price then what I owed, I told them the car is [***] now, why would I want it when it was taken away from me. I lol'd and hung up. FUTURE reference, NEVER BUY CARS FROM NISSAN EVER AGAIN.

Nissan keeps calling my fathers number and he has never owned a Nissan car or financed through them in his life.  800-777-6116.  They call him 7 times a day and sometimes very late.

When I talk with them all they want is a S.S #.  I gave them a bogus one to see what they would do, the caller took it, and hung up.  All they want is the S.S # for fraud purpose.
