I got the same thing. Digital message with my name backwards. Told me to call that 866 number back saying it wasnt a sales or solicitation call.

Medical Collections

Same call.....they are a legit company. Actually they were pretty helpful, and polite. I got the call about 30 days ago, paid my bill and revieved a notice this week and the outstanding bill came off my credit report already. Not sure if that is average or not...but it seemed pretty quick.

Keep getting calls from this number but they never once announce where they are calling from.  They sometimes call up to three to four times per day on my cell phone, which gets to be quite irritating and extremely unnecessary!

I have a total of three calls from this number.... still not sure if i want to call them back. They have never told me what company they are from and have left a refrance number for when i call back.

They called and left a name (PAULA) and the phone number. But no business reference. Why would I call that back? These people need to learn to be professional and courteous.

This is Medicredit and it is a Medical Debt Collection Agency. I has spoke to them once and told them that the Eye Doctor billed it wrong and that I was never told that there was an outstanding debt and that at the time of billing Medicare/Medical did pay for refraction of glasses. I am on Social Security and totally disable; I gave her the number for the State of California Vision Care after I had spoke to the Doctor that runs the program for the state.  had confirmed that I did not owe it. But they called again today saying that I owed a debt which by law they can't leave that on your answering machine; for reasons if they got the wrong phone number they just gave out your name and that you are delinquent on a debt and being collected upon. I tried to call back at the number that was left but you can't get past an answering machine. Stupid people... leave a call back number with extension and no way to get through.

Collection Agency

Said they are from Medicredit. I don't have any outstanding medical bills. They always call my cell phone. I drive school bus and can't answer when my phones rings. They call three and four times a day and it is interfering with my work.

I dont own the phone that they are contacting several times in one day, and apparently they dont understand what stop calling me, and send a bill instead means.

I called the number back 800-777-9929. They also left an automated message on my cell phone that they are Medical debt collection agency.  I talked to lady who was very polite and professional.  When I asked which bills are outstanding, she knew the doctor's I had visited and the dates.  I told her I did not receive any bills.   Turns out they were sending them to an old address.  I gave her my new address and she told me she will mail the information to my new address and I can contact my insurance company to see why they did not pay.  She was very helpful to me.

800-777-9929 calls at least once a day, they never leave a voice mail, so I don't answer.

trying to collect some medical bill - they keep calling wont give out info - and they're rude.

I've spoken on the phone with these people three times and given them my bankruptcy attorney's name and number and they are STILL calling me. This is violation of Federal Law and harassment, and they better stop or I'll sue them.

I had 3 or 4 hang-up calls, it would ring 2 and stop before it got to voice mail.  I call the number and the nice gentleman apologized and said they would remove my number.  We'll see.

I receive calls daily from this number. It has been several months ago since I last spoke with them, who are continually leaving automated messages for somebody that no-longer owns this cell phone number that I took up.
