This place is an affiliate of Star Vacations and are using less then stellar practices in giving information.  I have filed a complaint with the FTC for them not honoring the Federal No Call list.  If you have been called by them and are on the list you have the ability to lodge a complaint as well.  I have spoken with my attorney about class action against these scam artists.
The call ID was 708-441-8065
The return number is 800-779-9962 various extentions
Regional offices are fed the calls.  One office is in Phoenix, AZ

Called me at my parent's house, and I called them back from my cell phone and they are relentless. They also said to call them back at the 800 number to go over my application. I thought it had to do with my student loans but it didn't.

Same details. Got a call from 800.779.9962
"Bill Carter"

Said I had entered a contest, was called "grand sweepstakes"
sponsored by AOL, Cox.net, Hotmail, Yahoo, Event Planners

"Your name was actually pulled as one of the grand prize finalists."
"You don't have to send any money." -- right away this is sounding fishy.

I won one of these:

2007 Lincoln Navigator
3 day, 2 night vacation in Orlando, Cancun, or Las Vegas
$2500 in cash
32" Toshiba flat screen TV

Guess which one is most likely. This is yet another travel agency scam.

The final ironic quote from "Bill":
"This contest is monitored by the state of Virginia, so everything is legal"

Stev left message, stating I won a 2007 Navigator thru a drawing I entered and to call ext 8069.

I called back and was told I was a finalist and she needed to verify some information. She had no address on my "application". Obviously a way to gather marketing info. She hung up when I told I was going to report this to the police.

Part of call from 1-312-265-6178 ( Mike @ Prize Distribution Center ) asking to return call on time sensitive matter.  Congratulations you entered the Grand Sweepstake Give Away and have been selected.  Call Tom Owens at 1-800-779-9962 ext 8073 regarding the 2007 Lincoln Navigator (this in November 2008 - guess it is a used vehicle)  I am on the National DO NOT CALL list and will be reporting them as research shows they are solicitors.  I never have entered that contest and don't enter contests unless it is a legitimate source like my local bank, city, county, etc.

Got a call from 1-708-441-8069 from some guy named "Paul Robinson". He said I would definitely win a new Lincoln Navigator or another prize and I had been selected from a contest I entered. I dont remember entering a contest like this. Sounded pretty phony and he wouldnt give me a lot of info. The sad thing is that I did not know it was a scam right away til i got on the internet. He said to call him back at 1-800-779-9962. I asked him why I had to call him back and he said he had to "take his break"...wow ya think he could have come up with something better since he's a scam artist. I called the first number back (not the 800 number) and talked to a lady and the first thing I asked was "ok who are you and what is this place I am calling?" I said it sorta snappy and then the lady starts telling me that I should not call someone and be rude like that. I told her I just got a call from Paul Robinson telling me I had won a lincoln navigator and then I looked online and found out it was a scam. She gets snooty and asked what number called me and I told her. She said she would talk to Paul Robinson...what a lame scam! I am only 19 years old and I feel a little naive that I couldnt figure out right away it was a scam

I got the famous "You won a SUV" call asking me to return the call like the rest of you guys a couple days ago.  (They actually left a message on my machine!)  Apparently they're still up to it.  Don't fall for it.

Got a call from a "Mark", prize director, I entered a contest for a 07 Navigator 6-8months ago. The number to call back was the same as everyone stated above with ext 8064. I never enter contest so I knew it was a scam when I heard the message.
