Called on my cell phone.  Used a recording to advise me to call and recite back a "code" to get information.  I hung up .

Called my work and left message, but when I called back to see what was going on, no one was there to answer the call. I found some information online about NCO and an not to impressed and am a little confused.

They called me on my cell and asked for my father.  Wouldn't explain business but told me to expect mail.  Have received none.  They've called 6 more times with recording to call and give code.  I ignore them.

they called and i answered the phone first had music in my ear then a guy came on saying hello, said his name was jofeir or something like that and asked to speak to me by name and then wanted to confirm 2 forms of id before he would tell me what it was about said they sent me a letter in the mail to the address provided and i never got that letter.
anyone asking for verification of my id will not get that info unless i know who it is on the other side, becuase i do not know if they are who they say they are or if they are a scammer; or crook.  so the conversation ended with that.

called the house phone looking for my father and wanted to verify 2 forms of id (birthday and address) before he could tell me what it was about. said they were from nco or mco financial services and were calling him on behalf of someone else. when my father called back, they asked him to confirm address and zip code. both were wrong and  my dad refused to give any info. we couldn't get any good reason for the calls. also both people that called were very short and rude.

both callers from this number were very unprofessional. the man sounded like a scared little boy and the woman (ida, or something like that) sounded like a longtime smoker or sea hag.

Call from 800-786-9330 with caller id as "Unknown"  Left a message regarding debt collecion from NCO.  I have sent NCO certified mail requesting to cease and desist contacting me.  I have since paid the dept in full to the original doctor I owed.  I have sent correspondece twice indicating payment in full and to stop debt collection.  Checks have been cashed -- I continue to have NCO call me.  What do I do now?

I returned a message left from this number and they wanted me to confirm Date of Birth and address I told them that I have had all my personnal information stolen and that I would not confirm any information for them.  But I would be willing to talk to them if they would tell me what the call was about and they refused, I even went as far as to talk to a Supervisor.  I tried to help them but they refused.

I have had my current number for over 10 months. Before I had the number another party owned the number and owe several creditors. I first registered my number w/the do not call list. I alos told each creditor that called that this was a new number and I am on the do no call list and would like the solicitation to stop. Of course they refused.  I then contaced an attorney. I first sent them a cease and assist letter. Of course that did not work. In the mist of that I began to document all call from all Collections agencies. I also went to the PSC,FTC,BBB,Consumer Affairs, Attorney General Office in FL as well. this was done as a record so when we get to court there would be no..ooh we did not know. To make a long story short. I'm currently suing over 10 collections/creditors. We are in the last stages of settling and gues what I'm getting around 3-5 thousand from each creditor/collection agency. The violations: calling after 9:00, violating the fdcpa,frca and harassment. Remember I do not owe the debt never owe. I was also told that even if you owe the debt and the continue the harassment htey would end up oweing you. People do you research and take legal action that is the only way thet will stop. Now I'm laughing all the way to the bank...

this is a collection agent and they do not care if you are not the person that they are searching for. I merely employed a debtor in my business a year ago and these creeps continue to call my home number with their robot dialers trying to get info on the former employee. This employee NEVER was reachable at my number, yet these mf's keep hassling me.

3 to 5 times a week I receive a prerecording on my cell phone number that just reads a number but never mentions who they are attempting to contact in regards to a debt.  I don't have time to waste.  I do not have any outstanding debts.  I am annoyed because some person I never heard of must have used my phone number when going to a hospital because for months I received phone calls for a hospital bill of a person I never knew. Don't the reps even listen to the name left on the answering machine.
I went to the website to see if the bill could be pulled up by the reference number and the site won't allow it.

They use automatic voice recording to keep calling me about Debt Collector although I have no debts. What should I do to stop them from calling? Please help!

they call me daily, sometimes twice a day. always an automated message. I'm yet to miss a payment and in fact, am ahead on most of them! I want it to stop but I don't want to call them out of fear it'll just make them call me more! I don't care who they are collecting for because it's not me!!!!

recorded message about collections.  the person who had my number must be a deadbeat, lol.  just added it to the blocked callers list on my phone

I keep getting the same calls on my phone and I don't know who it is or what they may be concerned about with me.  They call, I don't answer because I'm busy at school or work, then they leave a voice mail on my cell phone that says something like, "This is an important message from NCO debt collection and the information given will be used to collect the debt, and please call 'Sally Ray' back at 1-800-786-9330 using the reference I.D.#: 18379194." It was just fine at first but now they are calling almost everyday of the week and its now annoying and getting on my nerves.  If anyone knows who this may be then please get the information to stop them A.S.A.P
