They call me 2-3 times a day, 7 days a week.  Today, the message was "it is imperative that we speak to you".  It is New Year's Day, a holiday in the US.  This message was sent from someone in India by their accent.

These idiots need to be thrown in jail.  Somehow they have all my my numbers and routinely call for many days in a row leaving a repeating voicemail message that goes on for over 4 minutes and even attempts to call back on itself.  The only organization that would have all my numbers is the IRS.  Does the IRS sell phone number lists?
I called and pushed zero so I could talk to someone and get their real name and address but no one ever answers (even after 10 minutes).

If anyone knows who these people are, and where they can be served with a "cease and desist" order.  Me and my lawyer would like to have it.

The offender uses the name USDA, states over and over it is "critical" you contact them immediately and when you do, they want you to give them your mortgage account number and credit card to make your payment.  If this is not out and out fraud - I do not know what it is.

    From the USDA's website:

For information about your past due mortgage loan, call 1-800-793-8861 to speak with a Counselor, Monday through Thursday 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Central Time.

Please have your loan number and last four digits of your social security number ready when you call".

I too get repeated calls from this number claiming to be USDA, mortgage, etc.  They ask for bank account information, routing numbers and social security numbers.  I DO NOT HAVE any business with this agency.  This is clearly a fraud.  DON"T GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION

These idiots have been calling me at least 3 months. Called them back about a month ago and told them to take my name off their list. It lasted about a week without any calls and then started up again. I turned in a complaint to the Atty Gen about a week ago and have not heard back. Still getting calls every day and these are all on my cell phone. I am giving the Atty Gen another week and then I am going to see if I can file a harasment charge on them with the local Police Dept or Sheriff's office or wherever I have to go.

These people bugged me for at least 6 months and I wrote a letter to the Atty Gen about the Do Not Call and was informed he could not help me because it was a Government call. So I started keeping the phone handy and every time they called I would click TALK and as soon as I knew it was a connection I clicked OFF. It took care of my problem after about a week NO MORE PHONE CALLS. If I receive any calls that are OUT OF AREA, PRIVATE or can not show who is calling I do the same to them. Believe it or not my phone calls have really slowed down. It is worth a try just to get them off your back.
