They have been bothering me all day! Haven't picked up yet, hoping the calls will end on their own...

This number called and didn't leave a message.  They are a fundraising telemarketer, calling on behalf of "non-profits" and "political orgs."

I saw this on the Caller-ID and didn't pick it up since I didn't recognize it.  I checked here and didn't really see too much info, so I googled the number just generally, and this one link came up that appeared to own the number.  I didn't click on it.  The title of the link is Wanted, Vehicle Owners that want FREE GAS.  It sounds like a scam to me.  Nothing is ever free.

Have been getting calls from this number for a week. If it's important, they can leave a message. Must not be too important, huh.

a pain in my neck,       no message, no name, I dont want to deal with this, I am old.       and Cranky.

have recieved multiple calls almost daily.  They do not go away on their own since this has been happening almost a year.  Fed up, I amnow paying to block unwanted calls.  Well worth the 4.00 it costs me.

call after call after call..no one on the line if you pick up...if you ignor the calls, they just keep calling...i keep spending $ on *69 to try and stop this harrassment...why doesn't the gov't, police or the phone companies stop this?..it is just telemarketing terrorism...i finally left a message full of cursing and the calls have died down..these gutless telemarketers who hide behind technology unfortunately have a strong lobby that protects them..

The number 1-800-796-0596 is for a telemarketing company that solicits donations only for various non-profit,charitable, or political party fund raising organizations and is apparently exempt from complying to the "no call" list. An operator on a pre-recorded message informed me that, if I wanted my number removed from their calling list, I was to leave them my phone number and to state whether I wanted to be put on the no-call list for all organizations or only for those who were not non-proft, charitable, or political funding organizations. I was told it would take about three weeks for the calls to completely stop. Why so long? Your guess is as good as mine.

800-796-0596, I agree with Rob this is telemarketing terrorism!  This is as bad as Fox news and their daily terrorism.  We should call the phone companies and tell them were going to cancel their phone service because of it. If enough people do this than -phone companies would have no choice but to stop this sort of thing.

They call all during the day and early morning. Also late evenings. I have very bad sickness in the family and cannot be bothered. I am 74 and my wife is 73. Help us stop this nonsence please.

They called on 3/17 to raise money for the Jewish Voice. I told them please call back in about two weeks.
I just had surgery and am in no condition to talk about anything with any sense of mind. I just receive a call
from this Number this mornirng 3/18. I wish I could report them. this doesn't look good for the people that hire them.

I am supposed to be on the Do Not Call list - who is monitoring this?

just called this number. You can get your number off their list. it is all automated. Try it.

I just called the number back and got the automated response as mentioned below.  If you listen to the whole thing, leave your number and request to be removed from all call lists, then following their instructions "press any button when done leaving message" it then asks you if you're happy with your message then "press 1" then advises you the message has been sent.  If you skip this part the request may be dropped altogether.

Really getting ticked off about all of these kinds of calls as our number is on the "DO NOT CALL"  National Registry, These,.. and those 05-062 phishing scam callers. The government communications law makers need to put a way to on the books to block these calls PERMANENTLY !!

Have caller ID and just ignore numbers I don't recognize.

I just called the number and got a recording stating they raise funds for different organizations and if I wanted my number removed from their list, they would do so.  I gave them my number.  I hope it works.

Got two calls and hung up from  this number...  got it from *69. Called THEM back....  it's company called MDS communications calling for various charities. They do have a facility (when you call them) to remove your numbers  from their lists. We'll see if they actually do that.
