I received a piece of mail with the phone number 800-796-5897 stating that I was pre-approved for a Capital One credit card. I already have a card with them so I decided to look up the number. This number is apparently somehow linked to a debt collector. Since I only have one account, and it's not in collection I opted not to take the credit card offer. This phone number is linked to a web address of www.64yNTk.com. If you decide to take  accredit card offer make sure it's legit first by contacting that bank directly. This should be your first step.

as a small avertisement ) not enough information. call me more than once all so asking for Birthday & last 4-digits of ss#.stilling identy info To help steal others Lives.

Visa card keep saying that I am approved for credit card line of $1,500 and when I respond  to the letter it's the run around.

Visa platinum credit card offer from Credi One Bank addressed to "Estate of xxx" who is my deceased husband. Pretty stupid, Credit One bank. Fed it to the shredder.

I think they are posing the credit card pre-approved company or agency to steal people info and also to link them to a fake website such as fraudulent agency , cheat company of well organized scam , telemarketers , fake debt collectors.

Credit One Bank credit card offer addressed to the "Estate of XXX".  Reply to suspicious looking website www(.)zR6cN5(.)com. This does not look like a website a reputable business would use. Just send your name, SSN, and DOB.  Looks and smells like a scam or attempt to get personal info. How do these fools think an estate can get a credit card. Threw their stupid junk mail in the shredder. Not worthy of a reply. or my time.

This credit card has an annual membership fee of $75 fort he 1st yr then $99 after that. BEWARE!

I received the same letter today in the mail . Same scenario I also already have a card . I also decide to research the number . They got me 1 time and I went thru hell .
