- Richard| 1 replyReceived calls from these clowns looking for a "Donald E. Crawford" who has never lived at this address. When I finally got a (seemingly) human to talk to, she said they'd remove my number. That was June. I have gotten four more phone calls from them, the most current being today. "Janice" hung up on me and I filed a formal complaint online with my State's Attorney General and plan to send those idiots a cease and desist certified letter.
Good Luck.- Caller: Vital Recovery Services, Inc.

- SueThey call at least twice a day, state who they're looking for (I've never heard of this person, of course) and then say by staying on the line I acknowledge that I am that person. Ok...attempts to call them at the number they leave are useless, as no one ever answers that line.

- JThey left a message on my business answering machine saying "you are the person we are trying to reach regarding an upaid debt". I think it is a scam. I don't have any unpaid debts. I did not return the call and will report them to the AG office if I get another call.

- PACaller said that I owe money to Wells Fargo. They are trying to scamm me! I do have my home mortgage with them, so I went online to wellsfargo.com to confirm my account balances. It is current. This collection company is a scam.
I am going to take their call and ask how I can pay them so that I can get more information about who is making the calls. I'll post the results as they come in.- Caller: Vital Recovery

- AnnI am receiving calls at work--I am here 3 afternoons a week--and by the time the answering machine kicks on, they are halfway thru their message, talking about pausing and knowing it is you they are calling, and the machine runs out of time before they give the complete number. I looked on the internet and found this site. I call them back, their machine says they are trying to collect a debt, etc, etc, and it rings 3 times and then the call is silent.

When I called them, I got another recording telling me to leave a message. I've gotten 2 calls so far, in as many days. I have reported them to the FTC and my state's AG office. - Not Henry K. Valentine!I can't say how many times they've called and left messages on my voice mail looking for some man who is not me! I'm a woman to begin with. Are they calling EVERYONE in my city, in this state, in the country with my last name? Today I called back to tell them to stop calling me... and the man hung up on me!
They leave messages almost daily. I'm at my wits end.- Caller: Vital Recovery Systems

- L.L.I just started receiving these calls 2 weeks ago. They call me twice a day at least and at odd hours (5pm...8:30pm.) I never answered the phone calls because I thought it was weird that a 1-800 number would have my cell number (i never give it out to businesses.) So, I called the number back and got their recording for the debt collection agency "Vital Recovery Systems." I got a little worried because I don't owe any debts and looked up the number and found this site. I am so thankful that this site is here!
Just wondering: are they calling your cell phones too? I really wonder how they got my cell number since it is unlisted.- Caller: Vital Recovery Systems
