We keep getting calls from this number. It's a recording, calling for my husband, claiming they are a debt collector. We have nothing in debt. I called the number back and got this one option to remove my number. When I pressed 1, it sent me to an "Audix" and the voice mailbox was full. I tried some of the other options to be transferred and all, but no luck. I Googled Audix and it appears to be a phone answering/voicemail service. This number usually calls starting at 7:30-8 am, any given day.

They called again 6/18 at 8:42am. Went to voicemail. Stated they were "Vital Recovery Services, Inc." From reading other posts, I see this "company" uses several numbers.

we keep getting phone calls looking for someone who doesn't live here.  there is no prompt to take the number off-and when i finally found a prompt to remove our number, the audix was full.

Trying to collect a debt from 1993!  WHAT?!  Not on our credit report, never has been, faxed something to another credit agency requesting it 1 year ago, but since has sold the "collection" to this company.  This company never gave me their name, an opportunity to prove we don't owe it. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.

Got a call from this number on July 4, at 8:30 in the morning!  Are you kidding me?  There wasn't anyone there.  In fact I answered on the third ring and they hung up.

They also called me this morning (July 4th). They have been calling every morning for the past couple of days. I just don't answer since I don't know who it is. The phone always stops ringing after the 3rd ring. Guess they don't want the answering machine picking up. Most pick up on the 4th ring.

They keep calling and hanging up, never leaving a message. I assumed it was a solicitation because caller ID just said TOLL FREE CALL. They called at 9:37am on Independence Day!

I keep getting a call from this number early in the morning before 9am, they will not leave a message and it's a recording.  I even received a call on July 4th (holiday).

Got several phone calls from the company asking for a guy that doesn't even live here!!! Called them back and went off. THIS IS HARASSMENT.

I got a call from them asking for my father. he is very old and very ill. The man. Mr. neal, who I am sure isnt his name, was nasty and rude. I am sick of these idiots calling here and want it stopped. they are nasty, rude and  will be suing them for harassement

I've been getting a call from this number everyday for the past few days and they hang up after a few rings. I don't even have a chance to tell them to stop calling!

Yes, they called me today.  Obviously another fly-by-night "bad paper" scammer.  "Bad paper" means an outdated, fraudulent or other uncollectible debt.

They call every morning at about 11:00 when I'm am sleeping after WORKING THIRD SHIFT!!!!!!!!!   I am not the person they want , but I can't tell them that because they won't pick up the damn phone when I call.  No answering service, no operator, no voice mail, THEIR PHONE JUST RINGS!!! It must suck if you do have a debt with them and would like to take care of it.  How do I stop these idiots?

I keep getting calls from this company as well. I found this info on the web. I'm sending them a Cease and Desist Monday. If they call me again after that they can pay me for each call they make. I suggest you all do the same.

I keep getting calls from the same number and everytime I call back the phone rings forever. Someone finally picked up today and I was told the system is down and everyone went to lunch. Do they think I am that stupid that everyone in a collection agency went to lunch at the same time. Do you have a copy the cease and desist you are putting together?

It's pretty simple.

Per my rights under the FDCPA I demand you cease and desist calling me by telephone at any number, as it is inconvenient for me. If you have the need to communicate with me you shall do it via mail.

If you fail to comply with this request I will exercise my legal rights under the FDCPA and CC all correspondonce to both the Better Business Bureau and the Federal Trade Commision.

(bear in mind, if you actually think you may owe them (and i use the term "owe" loosely as they buy debt for pennies on the dollar) beware that this could in some circumstances make there only play to serve you with a summons.

If you know for a fact you don't owe anyone anything and they are just calling the wrong number that should do the trick. If they keep calling just about any NACA lawyer will take your case on contigency and give you a free payday.

asked for personal info like ss#s phone #s etc, the debt is totally bogus. i am a myfico customer and this debt has never shown up on my reports. these people are scum, bottom feeders trying to scare you into paying or they will mess up your credit. send a cease and desist letter asap. also include a note saying that you suspect criminal fraud. golden rule? dont EVER give out private info. these people have my last 4 digits somehow, and tried to get me to tell them the rest. slimeballs.

My calls have only been going on for about a month now...sometimes a few calls per day, other times only a few calls a week.  I've never answered and they have never left a message.  I called their 800 number back from a payphone and have found out about as much as anyone on this forum...the company name and that it is a debt collection agency.  I've since gone online to discover everything else about the company including these message boards.  I don't think they will stop no matter what you do but I found their website www.vitalsolutions.com and plan to use their jobs email address to sign up for every online newsletter that I come across.
