Yes, this is a scam.  They also spam craigslist.  They sell you info that anyone can obtain for free.  Don't give them your credit card number.

Update from my post above. I checked the library and the stuff at the library is out of date and unrelated to the current test. After speaking with the company I found they give full tests to practice with in the same format as what you will actually see. This is far better then the 10 sample questions the Post Office gives to (prepare){sarcasm}.

    They change their number often.

And the books are printed every year and release at the Library for free

There is a currnt ad on Craigslist in Missouri (JeffCity/Columbia) under Goverment advertising Postal Service Jobs. They list 1-800-815-0210 code 9402. This I assume is also a scam.

Quit lying, Eric, you didn't "call the company," you work for them!

    It's still a big ripoff.

Flag the craigslist ads whenever they turn up.

Got sold on the $115 program :( Was told it was a "satisfaction guaranteed no questions asked" policy.  I called for my money back as it was not even close to what they "sold" me on.  There were no study materials or instructions, only practice exams.  When I called for my "no questions asked" money back, I actually got yelled at and called a liar by their customer service rep!!! He even laughed at me and told me I would never get my money back!!! If anyone knows how I can get my money back, please let me know!!!

this number: 1-800-815-0210 was posted on craiglist in Tampa claiming to be the USPS. If you want to register you only need to get taken for $99.95. What a Deal! Within 10 minutes, the posted wasn't flagged, it was already removed. Be very careful folks.

Fell for the ad on Craigslist. Gave them my credit card on 8/26/09 and have not received any info as of yet, but they took the $$$$$$.
I kept calling but only got a recording/voice mail. Used my wife's cell (on 9/4/09) and they picked up. I asked about the info they were suppose to send and they said it was in the mail. I also asked if this was a fraud and they said no. I then tried to call back 45 minutes later and went right to the voice mail again. They must have phone number recognition software and never answer any number that either has purchased or confromted them again.
I was stupid don't you be.
I also got the money back just like Tim

For both you and Tim, calkl the bank that processed your  credit card payment.  Tell them that you never received the items that you purchased and you want to dispute the transaction.  The bank will handle the rest.  I had a similar problem a few months ago but two weeks after I made the dispute I had my money back.  Good Luck!
