Solicitation call

Actually it is a company called EMSI

Survey call requesting Gas Co info. and will be asking for answer to 3 questions.  First was to verify address.  I did not want to answer questions and refused to verify.  She immediately said "Go to Hell!" and hung up. I don't think that was in her script.

they left message stating it was regarding my life insurance quote.

Not spam, it was regarding a life insurance quote I'd requested..

Agreed - EMSI for the Hartford Insurance for an insurance quote I requested through my employer

I have not requested an onsurance quote from anybody.

EMSI is a life insurance medical service that does telephone interviews and orders medical records for life insurance examinations. I applied for a life insurance policy and they did a telephone interview with me. If you do not answer or return their call, your life insurance policy will not get activated. Very important to know!

So why are you posting here if the phone number is supposedly  valid?   Most people post here if they've been scammed or an attempt to scam has been made.  But in your case everything's fine.  So you took the time out to check out an anti-scamming site and out of the goodness of your heart you went and tried to reassure everybody what a harmless number this is?  I don't think so.

Fact is, this is more likely a scam and you're just another shill working an 800 number scam.

I am glad insurance applicant posted.  I have been waiting on a call from the insurance co for a medical interview. I didn't answer and now I know I should have!

This number calls me daily to talk to someone I do not know. It is always someone different, they just state they are calling from EMSI on behalf of Knights of Columbus & to call them back at 1-888-347-6601. Other voicemails from this number include a couple minutes of creepy music. It has been about two weeks of this, the calls do not stop.
