Just recently received a VM from a young lady stating: She just received my file in her office for review and had a few quick questions before she makes a decision and requests that I promptly return her call when I get the message...
After researching the ph# on google, I found the company ARS National to be a debt collector.  Instead of trying to ask us to contact them, they made it seem as if we submitted some sort of application that wouldn't be accepted until we called.  We don't mind paying a debt that we owe; however we don't like bing misled or QUASI-LIED TO!  BE WARE OF 800-820-9980.

Got the same call 02/10/2008, saying it was a documented call to try to get a hold of me, it was ARS National,

got a call from those sons of [***] this morning at 5 am!!!!!!
they were saying my credit card was canceled and they knew my exact balance oh and that the state of california was suing me! , they were asking for my home address and some other [***]. called my bank and cancelled my card and they said everything was okay

Yup, me too. Came up as Unavailable, so I let it go to VM. When I listened, it sounded like I'd won the Publisher's Clearing House! Good thing I researched the number first. They will not be hearing from me.

I got the same call except they called my parents house on SUNDAY at 9am saying that they where listed as a job reference.
i tried to call to get the case number and sat forever and gave up on them wanted to send them a cease letter found there real address

Anyone out there know someone that works for ars? There has to be someone that knows workers at this company, supervisors would be good. Maybe you have a ex-gilfriend, ex-boyfriend,ex-wife, ex- husband, a neighbor you don't like that works at ars. Want to get even with them? Do you have a name, address, where thier kids go to school, where thier parents live? Anything that will help the thousands and thousands that want to hunt THEM down for a taste of thier own tactics. Want to send them a message? If so post the info online where frustrated consumers can find it. They have the right to visit ars employees and thier loved ones. Then ars employees can decide if a ars paycheck is worth the price.
