I recieved letters with access codes that went in numerical order on each letter to call and retrieve message left for me??? What is that???? Why would you send stuff like that out and think that someone would actually call back is said automated voice message notification message alert. Are they alerting me that I won a million dollars because I am not going to call otherwise.

I received the same letter, who the heck is sending out this baloney?

    Bill
I got one of those letters today. I wouldn't call from a home phone. My guess is it's a bill collector trying to get your number. I'll call from a pay phone sometime next week and I'll post the results.

Received a similar letter, will be calling from a pay phone. Alot of these annoying calls are from people who owe people and give phoney addresses and phone numbers, then they will call or write you and you are the innocent bystander....they don't even want you they want somebody else. Another annoying situation is their annoying/threatening manner in which they contact you. Everybody owes somebody, so in this recession, give folks a break! If they wont call/contact you in this manner maybe alot of us would try to make some arrangements. But I know for myself, if you harass me you wont here from me....... See you in court!

I not calling first of all they are a collection agency and they are violating FDCPA and should be sued by the people they are sending information to..1. they must state they are a debt collection agency, 2 there is no mini marada anywhere and there is no business name on mine so you think I am calling heck no.  Because they are an illegal business you think you are getting my money with no business name heck no...Spam and identity theft would be so easy from this letter...

please call asap to schedule or to advise.  keep your reference number found above your address.  when i called it says thank you for calling. please dial in your 7 digit code on yellow card, when u punch in digit code, it says thank you for calling. matter has been resolved.  what in the hell does that mean?  someone , please let me know  ....

Received post card stating this is a delivery service with restricted or insured (don't know what) needing a signature.  No return address; post mark Denver, CO.  Just says to call this number.
Oh yah....like I'm calling for whatever.

    no way
Today I received a yellow postcard.  On one side it said:  Delivery services, we are trying to reach you, please call to reschedule.  On the other side it's postmarked - Denver, Co.-  and reads: Delivery services We are trying to contact you but are unable for one of the following reasons:  Restricted or insured requires a signature; Unable to use po box; no one available--- call to authorize alternate contact,  1-800-831-8706.
Please call asap to schedule or to advise.  key in your reference number found above your address.

Everything about this is wrong. I'm home everyday, all day. I know my mailman well and have been at my address for years. I never have problems with my mail and if I received something "restricted or insured," I'd would know about it. How would I get a card in the mail that could be easily lost but not receive "restricted or insured" mail from my mailman?

There is no return address on the postcard either. If anyone, via mail, telephone, etc. wants to contact me, I have the right to know who they are. This is shady and bad business practice. Seems that I'm not the only one though that has received this postcard. I do have two bills that are unpaid and if this is one of them's poor attempt at collecting that debt, they are in for a big surprise. I'm having a problem with one of them as they will not provide me proof of the debt. They just keep stating they sent me mail when in fact I've only gotten phone calls from them and two letters. Which prompted my request for proof of debt and no response to that. Shady Shady Shady.

When you enter thereference number they somehow now have the phone number you are calling from.  It's a collection agency trying to find the person they mailed the notice to.

This is illegal it is called entrapment and if they call me they will for sure get an ear full about their practice with a threat of a lawsuit.

Recieved yellow postcard too......bad business.......duh   If I knew I ordered something......and it was from a reputable business (UPS, Fed Ex)  then maybe I would fall for this crap........it's  post marked???  (can't read) and regular stamp....lol. Not a business that I know of!!!!   They must think people were born yesterday!!!   NOT ME!!!!   Don't fall for it....if you do they will have your number unless the number you call from is blocked!!!!!    Good luck.....will keep you all posted on their next lame attempt!!!!!
