I am getting several calls a day from this number and from 614-798-5900 and when I pick up, nobody answers.  They are calling my cell phone, and it is extremely annoying.

They have been calling me as well.. Almost every day... sometimes a few times a day... I called back at 866-354-0567, they are so dang rude!  Woman gets on the phone and first thing she says is "what's your social"... I told her she didn't need my social and i want them to quit calling me.. Someone had put me down as a reference... Bothering me isn't going to make him call them faster!!! GRRRRR

they r calling a friend of mines. they said turn yourself in and you will not get away because we have your social. what is this company? are they a type of collection agency. and you are so right....they are very rude.

Automated voice told me the call was about an important business matter and that I should hold on the line for the next available representative ... after waiting awhile, it said I could call back to 1-800-837-0381.  Looking this up on the web shows that it may be a Check Cashing company in Ohio.  I don't use that type of service, I would have no business with them.

Called me for the umpteenth time looking for Richard Hurdle. When I called back I got a very snippy young man who refused to give me his name. Told me I have not had my phone number for a year. And when I mentioned putting this on the internet he snidely asked if I really didn't have anything better to do with my life.  Then asked if I was sure I did not know Richard Hurdle.

He finally said that the number was removed.  We will see.

They called here looking for an empolyee and claimed they had a warrant for his arrest.  Is that legal?

I believe that this is a phone number for the Corporate Offices of Checksmart - which is a payday loan and check cashing business.  They also use 866-354-0567

i dont believe so.  that is usally a scam. they can call the courty of county and local courts and they will tell you yes or no.  i had the same thing happen differnt company turned out to be scam

I have been using Check Smart services for many months now with no issues. I cash all my paychecks there and even took out personal loans. Up until recently, I have had a perfect payment history with them. One of my paycheck came back returned (which how is that my fault). They called me and I immediately called my boss to tell him so he could reissue me a check so I could pay it off. I told them that my replacement check would be given to me on Aug 20th next week but the caller laughed at me and demanded I come Today with their money. Wtf? A returned paycheck is not my fault. She was talking to me like I was some criminal! How are people allowed to be this rude?!
After I pay them, I am Never using any of their services again! They just lost a customer.

They are harrassing me at my job. They call my job more than 20 times a day.They are saying that I will go to jail if I don't give them any money. They call my cell phone about 10 times in 5 minutes.

Continues to call for an employee after being told he cannot receive these types of calls.  They also misidentify themselves when they call, and refuse to give me a physical address (for mailing a CUT THE CRAP letter).

Just got a call from these [***]...I don't owe anyone $ yet they asked for me by name. I'm going to put their # on my call reject list...thanks Verizon!

Reference an auto title loan (used to be a payday loan location also in Arizona)

Forgot to mention that this company will also call repeatedly If someone listed your name as a reference and now they are not paying the bill

Voicemail saying my loan had been approved. WTF I didn't apply for a loan. Caller sounded India and there was tons of background noise. Scam!

A Mario Rivas keeps calling me from this number about me owing money to a cash advance place. I do not know what he is talking about and they need to stop calling me and my friends and family. I have filed a police report for identity theft and will be filing another one with this company of it continues.

This number is associated with an answering service associated with multiple debt collectors. The delay is caused from the computer trying to identify your number and rerouting to the particular debt collector. If you call back it the same principal, they require your social to forward your call to the correct collector.
Many debt collection companies are using this service to eliminate man power and lower cost. Your call is generated by the computer, if you answer you are automatically patched to the service which in turn forwards you to the debt collector office. Not only does this cut there cost from having hundred of employees, but it also keeps you from reaching them unless you have a debt they want to collect.

Simply state to the debt collector your in the middle of a family crisis and can not talk now, and ask them to please send another statement in the mail. Once received send the debt collection company a Cease and Desist letter. (Search Google for debt collector Cease and Desist letter). Must be sent Certified with Return Receipt (proof it was sent) (about 3.00 dollars) Good Luck.

Said they were verizon and asked me to turn off find my iphone so they could make good of a 5 g network outage.
