8-2014 - This is a legit phone number.  It is Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield Insurance Freedom Blue PPO plan.  Called to set up program to get all my meds mail order from Express Scripts, a very nice polite gentleman.  

Well, this 'legit phone number' is apparently dunning people with unwanted advertisements. Perhaps 'you' welcomed such at-home harrassment, but the vast majority of folks, including me, are sick to death of it.
If you have to sit at home to wait for people to make you aware of 'good deals' you are probably not aware of much that is really going on, whether 'legit' or not.

I called this number back as it looked familiar - it is a legitimate number, associated with a program that, IF you already are enrolled in certain medical plans, mails prescriptions directly to you rather than you getting them at a drugstore.

I had to choose "Unknown" since I didn't see a choice for a real number on the drop-down menu.  They call about twice a year because I am enrolled in one of the qualifying plans.  (I have tried this service in the past but it didn't work for me since I travel a lot.)

But as of April 15, 2016 it is an official number and not spam.

From Medco, part of Blue Cross. Called them asking them to not call me. They still call, at different times of day and night. Very annoying.

Getting prescriptions by 'mail' is not a safe procedure at all. Of course the providers like this since it cuts their cost. But it is open to many abuses.

This is a legit call from Express Scripts on behalf of one's health insurance company. The call talks of the benefits of their refilling scripts (prescriptions) via mail order, perhaps automated, to lower their costs. Friends who are totally disabled confirm the great convenience of the service. One friend who has had such service for years with a variety of meds has never had any problems. No doubt this could be a problem, though, in some neighborhoods. Express Scripts would do themselves a huge favor if their Caller ID stated their name, rather than the insipid "TOLL FREE CALL."

Call was from Express Scripts. Really resent these people calling us. We are aware of who/what Express Scripts is and we are NOT interested. Believe they got our phone number via Walgreens, and Walgreens has some nerve selling our phone number to this place. It was an intrusive robocall and we've reported them to the FTC.
