If you have been scammed by World Wide Travel Agency or Sun & Fun Travel they are all affiliated together. They will contact you by fax and offer these wonderful vacation packages for the low low price. You will have to pay them through your checking account and you will never receive your package...- Caller: WORLD WIDE TRAVELING

I just contacted them about a couple of numbers spamming me by sms. their number is 877-382-4357. you can also go to ftc.gov to verify this contact number or you can just register the complaint online. i like talking with someone though...they can ask you details about the problem and you can ask them questions as well.
- Desiree| 2 repliesMy friends and I were scammed also, please note:
My friends and I received a faxed flyer at work regarding a “48 Hour Summer Sale!!” (Vacation Sale). We called the listed number, 1-888-779-5550, World Wide Travel (3346 East, T.C. Jester #H-4, Houston, Texas 77018) and inquired about the Las Vegas Special Listed. We were informed by sales agent Eric Jacobs that we would receive 3 days / 2 nights in Las Vegas for $149.98 per person. We were also informed that once this is paid through “Check Only”, we would receive two free trips for very two trips booked. We were informed that once paid, we would receive our travel vouchers in the mail (4 total, 2 (paid) + 2 (free)) at which point we had up to 15 months to book our trip. We were informed that once you call to book your trip it would be an additional $49 per person for booking fees. Unfortunately we did not check the Better Business Bureau, Rip Off Report or any other website as it was a scam. We paid our money on 8/1/12 and received a certified envelope on 8/10/12 containing a promo code (110022) and telephone number to a Travel Center in Maryland 1-800-861-7313. We called and were informed that you must pay an additional $49 to activate your special and $19 booking fee, each person. In addition, each person would have to pay an additional $99 or more when you call to book your trip. We were also informed that the promo code expires 5 days from the time you received your certified envelope. We called back to World Wide Travel for reimbursement as we were not informed of the additional fees or the 5 day promo expiration. We were sent to customer service at New World Wide Travel, 1-888-400-3957, (5675 Jimmy Carter Boulevard #729, Norcross, GA 30071-2965), left a message for the owner, Wayne Williams, and was informed that he responds quicker to email. I emailed Mr. Williams who stated he is a wholesaler who sale to companies like World Wide Travel who opens the deals up to the public. Mr. Williams stated his company offers customer service for World Wide Travel in regards to questions about vacations, booking, etc. however he could not refund our money. Mr. Williams stated he could recommend a refund but it is not EXPECTED. Mr. Williams followed up stating his recommendation was not favorable as we had 72 hours to cancel. It however took 9 days to receive the information in the mail!!!!. We called World Wide Travel again and were given the run around, people were changing their names however had the same voice. We were informed by World Wide Travel that we just got a bad agent that didn’t explain everything. We were later informed that Eric Jacobs was moved to booking. Although my friend booked through an agent by the name of Jackie that was no longer available either. We are attempted to dispute the charge through our banks.- Caller: World Wide Travel

- Colleen| 1 replyI also received a fax at work from World Wide Travel stating this was a 4th of July special. I purchased 8day 7night cruise with air and also pd by check. Was told I would receive vacation package , which I did about 10 days later. I also received promo code 110022 and called to activate this package at which time I was charged $ 68.00 per person for booking and activation fee. I was told I would receive confirmation by email within 7 days. I did receive the email and I was to call immediately to schedule the date for my cruise. In the beginning I was told I had 15 months to schedule my cruise and had to book 90 days in advance. Some friends of mine called to see what kind of rate they would get if I referred them and what they were quoted was to good for them to believe so they checked out the tn # (888-711-9990) agent was Libby. Didn't like what they saw so advised me I had been scammed. The letter in my package advised me I could receive a refund as long as I had not booked my date yet, which I hadn't. I called the home base tn # 800-861-7313 to request a refund and was advised to call 888-400-3957 and at that number was told to send an email to TCWWCustomerService@Gmail.com with an explanation of why I am requesting a refund and total amt spent. I have sent 6 emails so far and not one has been replied to. I did however receive a check in the mail for $86.00 with a letter that simply stated that this is the refund I requested. The total amount I have pd to date is $636.00. I called the number on the letter (800-861-7313) from The Travel Center, 20940C /frederick Road #354m Germantown, MD 20876-4126. to inquire how they arrived at this figure for my refund. The woman who answered stated that refunds were not handled by this department. She would take my number and have a supervisor call me back. I asked for her name and she refused to give it to me. I asked when could I expect a call back and she said she didn't know. I asked for the name of her supervisor and she refused to give that to me as well. I asked who can I expect a call frome and she would only say Crystal or Ray. I have not tried to cash the check I received yet, but really don't expect it to clear. I am not ready to settle for $86.00 , but that may be all I get. I am filing a complaint as well, with the Better Business Bureau.

- Victim replies to ColleenThis sounds just like my problem. Have you got anywhere with getting your money back? My mom was going to surprise us for Christmas and this is what she gets. I want to do everything I can to help her get her money back.
- kittymow1| 9 repliesI dont understand why all of these are believing this is a scam. It's quite simple really. Its a PROMOTIONAL VACATION. Yes there will be confusion and maybe even a headache here and there. You certainly receive a vacation. I thoroughly enjoyed mine with my husband. There is certainly a process to any promotional deal you will ever buy or 'receive'. The people in charge of selling these promos are there to solely due that exactly - SELL IT! They may nott give you every detail upfront and thats the risk you decide (or not) to take. The number that this 'blog' is about is to the Travel Center. Their SOLE purpose is to activate and send you your vacation voucher (step 2). They answered all of my questions and gave me all the details I asked for. Granted, they are NOT the ones who sold me the package. They are not responsible for what the seller explained (or may have even lied about) to get the sale done. Travel Center was very helpful and answered everything to their ability. I dealt with a girl named Kathryn. She was very understanding to possible frustration that may occur along the way with the previous or post step to my activation. Everything is in pure detail with step by step instructions on pretty much EVERYTHING. The fees are completely legit and if theres any questions - CALL, ASK, WRITE IT DOWWWNNNN. Im sure people call accusing Travel Center of something they bought from Trip Pro for example (step 1, purchase, thats who we got it from). Or Complain to their booking company (step 3) for something they felt they were 'mislead' about because they dont read through the instructions and details given to you RIGHT THERE in front of you. Yes you pay for your package, yes you pay to activate (duh you cant USE your package unless they make it available for you TO USE), yes you have to pay a 'processing fee' to your booking company, nobody is going to work for you for free. What i mean by that is, how do you expect a company to take THEIR time and efforts to find you a flight, hotel etc without expecting a down payment. What if they do all of this FOR YOU and you decide to cancel? Fees are involved for THEM if that happens. Paper, paperwork, taxes they will be responsible for if you cancel, validations, and now cancellations so on and so forth. Your processing fee, DOES go TOWARD your taxes (Yes you are told when you originally buy your package you will pay your taxes at the time of check out). No US company can legally say they need your taxes prior to giving you a service. "processing/registration" fee is what ours was called. If there any taxes left at time of checkout, you will be responsible. That hotel decided to promote to fill up, make $ where there is none being made. Hence the PROMO VACATION. They even ask for you to choose several dates to book your vacation. You are not entitled to make your own rules etc. These places need you, as the customer, to fill up the empty space where they would normally be making nothing if this entire process was not made available to YOU/US. It upsets me to read these reviews. My husband and I take promotional vacations at least once a year. When else are you able to go the freaking Dominican Republic, or wherever for basically $300 a person? ($150 purchasing package, $69 activation, $99 processing fee - per each person). Ask questions, be patient and understanding. These people are just that, PEOPLE. Be responsible for yourselves. how do you expect everyone else to track your $$ if you dont know who you send your $$ to? I followed directions, READ ALL the details, spoke to whom I was directed and went on my vacation. This is a happy customer :)
- Shill Alert replies to kittymow1| 3 repliesIt's called a SCAM because it IS a SCAM. It's a filthy scam. The victim "promised" some ability to travel at a "reduced" cost at some indeterminate time in the future. When the victim tries to arrange this travel, one of several things might happen:
1. No one answers the phone because the scammers have shut that number down and moved on to another. It looks like this number has been in use for about 6 months. Check back in six more, it will be gone.
2. if the phone is actually answered they go on infinite hold.
3. If they actually get to talk to one of the scammers (I mean "representatives" hehe), they will be told that more fees are due, or the dates aren't available (after the additional fees have been charged, i many cases).
And of course there are many layers to the scammer's organization, note that this scammer refers to a "booking agency" to get more levels of separation, and confound the victim's attempt to recover the monies that were stolen, because they scammers have worked hard to make sure the actual thief is difficult or impossible to identify.
Prmotional vacation my A$$, it's more like an imaginary trip to a reall Hell. This is fraud plain and simple. Does your mom know you commit fraud for a living, or did you soak her for a "promotional vacation" too? - kittymow1| 10 repliesPS, Travel Center probably deals with a bunch of different companies, I assume so because Im reading what you all have wrote. There are so many promotional vacations and business that promote them out there, through faxes, seminars, mail etc. They send you to activate, your then assigned a booking company according to your activation date and destination.....
- kittymow1 replies to Shill Alert| 2 repliesObviously it shows that you're one of the ones that dont read anything. Sorry you're such an idiot :/ Does your mommy know you smoke crack and your people and reading skills have been effected to the point of no comprehension? Ladies and gentlemen example one to prove my point. I AM LIVING PROOF OF THE VACATION !!! listen to yourself, why the hell would anyone want to deal with someone who yells and cusses and demands and accuses them? Would you? please
- anonymous replies to kittymow1| 3 replieskittymow1 is a lying scammer shill who justifies its SCAM by blaming victims for their ignorance and gullibility -- this is like a burglar blaming the homeowner for his lax defenses that enabled the burglar to rob his home.
This is a version of the advanced-fee SCAM where victims pay $$$ up front for a promise of something in the future that NEVER shows up. The something could be anything -- interest rate reduction, $1,000 shopping card, a vacation, a cruise, a pet, whatever. Sometimes they charge a single $fee up front, sometimes a series of small $fees as the scam evolves, and sometimes they show up later as a SCAMMING recovery agent who can get your money back -- well, for another $fee, of course.
Karma is a female dog, and she is MEAN. - anonymous replies to kittymow1I like dealing with Shill Alert because he speaks the TRUTH while you spew LIES and more LIES.
"I AM LIVING PROOF OF THE VACATION !!!" is an unprovable statement. 800notes is an anonymous forum. You can be Condy Rice pretending to be "kittymow1." I could be Santa Claus pretending to be "anonymous." No one should believe your unprovable statement... oh, I mean LIE given what Desiree and Colleen posted above. - anonymous replies to kittymow1| 8 repliesOh right, it's not YOUR scam, is it? You just rake in the money and it's not your fault, is it? Acting as an agent for these SCAMMERS makes YOU a SCAMMER as well. SCAMMER! SCAMMER! SCAMMER!
- Shill Alert replies to anonymous| 2 repliesNo no no, you've got it all wrong. I see the light,. It is just a happy customer who's monitoring this site to make sure that the great company that gave it this great vacation isn't defamed!
And if you believe that, I've got some great New Jersey oceanfront property you might be interested in, too!
LOL
Epic FAIL! - Payback replies to kittymow1Free vacation promotions by robocalling, and forcing people to give you their credit card numbers, ss numbers or bank account numbers? This is what I call a SCAM. There is no free vacation package, its all one big pile of bs created by Rachel's scammers.
- Payback replies to Shill AlertToo bad the damn Hurricane didn't hit the boiler rooms. Next time a Typhoon might show up on top of a boiler room in the Philippines.
- kittymow1 replies to jane| 6 repliesYou cannot travel as a group because these are not designed for large #s of people. When you are sent the vouchers they're only for 2 people per voucher, its a promo, they'll ask you for several dates because they cant validate that you'll be going on the first date of choice. They're filling spots that are open. If you try in a large group they cant assure u that many can 'fit and fill' the voids where needed (hotel and flight availability)....you can certainly purchase it but they cant promise you can all go together, thats why their vouchers validate 2 ppl, design for small traveling #s
- kittymow1 replies to ZEE| 1 replydid u follow up on 'never receiving your package'? who did u buy your package from?
