From the infamous Hanna Family of notorious debt collectors, WWAP is a bottom feeder debt buyer incorporated in NV and run out of Marietta, GA by Fred Hanna (brother to Fredrick J. and his son, Tye Hanna).  The Hanna organization has a tainted reputation for lies, my experience has taught

nothing this organization says or does should be taken at face value; anything and everything should be challenged including any court filings and credit bureau reporting. WWAP is a bottom feeder debt buyer of old portfolios that may be totally lacking in legal validation and possibly out of statues. The Hanna reputation has always been one that is tainted, dating back more than twelve years, so anyone dealing with WWAP is warned to be very cautious. Paying WWAP will not help you or your credit reports.

Consistant calls from this phone number. Sometimes the phone number shows up and sometimes it shows as an unknown phone number. Since I work long hours I never answer my cell phone from an unknown number anyway. Thanks for the information posted.

Focus Receivables Management - Already talked to them on Monday and they agreed to allow me to pay $50/mo until I could come up with 51% of the total amount owed.  Told me they would send me a bill and allow me to pay and then told me that they cant gauruntee they would even send a letter.  Then proceeded to tell me they had not sent me any bills for the last 3 months and wanted me to pay those 3 months.  Dont think so...This is for a Chrylser Financial Lease penalty I just cant afford to pay off right now so they get 50 bucks a month and I told them I want a balance statement every month to show that the payment has been applied or they get nothing and after 5 more years when the statuate of limitations is up, they will get sued if they keep calling me.

Just received a call from this notorious number.  I have no debt and the message left was to call the number and it hung up before it gave the file number.

Do not pay them they are under investigation for many reasons.....

They kept calling my number, when I called back they asked my personal information, but they refused to tell me who the person they want to talk to. They just said the person owned alot of money from Chase Bank.
I knew it imay be a scam right here. They won't tell me who they are looking for. Only the person has the same last name as mine. I told the guy I never have any business with Chase Bank, but he insisted I am the person they are looking for and want me to pay back the money. I told him not to call again and hand up. Five minutes later, they called again. They just don't want to give up.

Been receiving calls daily.  Messages left and when I call back no answer....owe out debt but NOTHING is past due to warrant debt collectors!  A few days maybe but not farther than that.

Received calls all day long from this number 1-800-861-7981.  This is 3rd Party Collection agency for Check N Go.   Do Not Pay them anything.   Report to Attorney General, and FTC.

If it was me doing it...I would pay the $50 a month directly to Crysler Financial, and if the collector is legit, Crysler will forward the payment to them.

RECEIVED RECORDED MESSAGE 5:15pm WHERE MESSAGE TAINTED BY ANSWERING MACHINE.  woman's voice said something about debt collector and we had to call back to settle.  Call listed on screen as Free Call Toll.

You can't pay the original creditor. Once a collection agency is calling you it's because the original creditor SOLD your debt to them.

So Hanna should have no problem validating that debt as per the FDCPA....

Tell them you'll only talk with them if they get naked.

These jack [***] call 3-4 times a week. Never leave message. I don't answer the calls. I am not in collections.

They called and asked about my cable bill at my place of business.
Most likely they are calling to ask questions to get information and then calling to follow up with their scam

I dont pay people over the phone when they call me so luckily not a victim of them.

I got a call from this company for a legitimate debt. The caller identified himself, his company and gave me his phone number.  The information he had for me was correct and after I gave him my payment information I called the company i owe and the payment was pending on my account.  I will call the company I owe for my next payment but, in this instance, everything was legit.

This isn't always 100% true. I have never once paid a collection agency: In the rare instances I've been hounded by one I've refused all contact, gone back to the original company, and paid them directly. Debt-collectors are the bottom-feeders of capitalism, and I won't sponsor, support, or otherwise tolerate their existence.
