too many disrupting calls!

The calls I get are united airlines flight notification (I only get it for flights that my wife is on). This is something I signed up for and appreciate. I am sure it is possible to drop.

yes, it's just United.  Left an automated recording with updated itinerary.

800-864-8331 is United Airlines automated flight update service.  When I made my reservation, I requested email and phone updates so I'd know about delays before going to the airport.

I've been receiving calls from this number, its really annoying because sometimes wakes me up in the middle of the night.  I never requested this service before, I'm desperately seeking to get rid off this calls. Its way too disturbing.

It was an automated call from United Airlines, which I let go to voicemail because I have not flown them in a long time. I suspected someone else accidently put my phone number as the contct number for their flight.

WAS I WRONG!

The automated United message stated that my miles were due to expire next month and that I could go to United.Com/savemymiles to investigate ways to retain them.

This call was welcome because I hate it when an airline takes your miles and you find out months later and lose out.

unwanted calls

I keep getting calls from them telling me my flight is delayed.  I have never flown with them... I do not reside in either city on the itinery and they called at 3AM!!!

I appreciate a call from them (United Airlines) IF there is a problem, but why do I need to get 4 calls in the middle of 3 nights (1-2 am time frame) telling me know my flights are on schedule.  We're talking 60 hours, 36 hours and 10 hours out from departure time.  UA management needs to pull their heads out and think.

I keep getting calls from this number with flight info I never requested.

I just received two calls from United, but my plane has landed and I am already at work.  Pretty silly if you ask me.

Please discontinue phoning our cell no. 1-250-213-6488, as we live in Canada, and we are not on any flights from O'Hare airport.  We have been getting numerous phone calls, which does not apply to us.

I have been getting many (voicemail) calls from United Airlines about Flights that I am not on or planning to take. I have called United Airlines and talked to a live person twice and explained that this is a service that I did not signup for but am still getting calls about trips that I have no reservations for. I was promised on both occasions that United would (after taking my phone number) get the calls stoppped. I am still getting these calls daily and sometimes in the middle of the night. I have told United that I would be seeking the advice of an attorney if this did not stop. If anyone else is annoyed with United and this service it might be time for a group effort lawsuit.

these call are just scams, blocking or reporting the number doesnt help because they just change the number and keep calling.
Dont answer these calls, and dont call them back. when you answer, or call back, or talk to someone, or press 9 to be added to their do not call list - that just lets them know that your number is a working number. then they flag it is as a working number. therefore you will get repeated calls from them and all their scam buddies. because it is an illegal operation and they change numbers and stories often (free alarm system scam, credit card interest rate lowering scam, we will pray with you scam, donation scam, free cruise scam, problem with you accont scam, ect) they DO NOT CARE about the do not call list. they call as many people as the can, changing the story on occasion just to scam an unsuspecting person out of money. the more people they call, the more chances they have of stealing from us.
every number called by the robo callers that dead end gets tossed out, and the ones flagged as working(casue you called back or answered) get stored, passed around illegally, and worst of all - called repeatedly.
BEST ADVICE - NEVER MAKE ANY MONETARY TRANSACTION  OVER THE PHONE, EVER. ESPECIALLY IF THEY CALLED YOU. and dont ever give out personal or financial info over the phone, especially if they called you. SIMPLY, IF THEY CALLED YOU - YOU REALLY DONT KNOW WHO YOU ARE TALKING TO.

if everyone STOPS making monetay transaction over the phone - this will stop. if they never make any money this way, it will stop because it will never pay off.
Even if a charity calls, and you are interested, DONT GIVE MONEY OVER THE PHONE. have them mail you donation paperwork and verify its valid. if they refuse to do this it is most likely a SCAM.

NO MONEY OVER THE PHONE - MEANS NO MORE CALLS (YEAH) from these scam, telemarketer, timeshare, ect scumbags.

United Airlines with a survey about contacting their service center - gee I was only on hold for 1hr 20 mins before connecting and being told I had to complete the transaction from their website

I just got a automated call from United....I work for them.  It was a call checking to see that I was OK.  Since I haven't worked since the storm, my company hadn't heard from me.  The call was a request to let my supervisor or base mgt know that I was safe.  Nice that my company cares.  BTW, I understand the robo call...80,000 employees--impossible to call each individually!

United airlines left me a message. havent flown with them, am not planning on flying with them yet they are quoting my itinerary. annoying.
