Iline21 Jul 2007- First and foremost for all you bashing Nelson Watson And Associates first off there is a statute of limitations to collect on a debt. Secondly if you paid the money back you would not have debt collectors haunting you. Now most importantly NWA I know for a fact does not use threatning tactics to get consumers to pay debts AND for your info we are a PRE LEGAL Collection Agency.
- What doesn't everyone do like I did when I started getting phone calls from Nelson Watson & Associates on my cell phone which I guess the phone number used to be a Mrs Snyders and now I was issued that number ????
I will advise everyone to call the Attorney General in their home state or Washington and put this company on the do not call list and then if they call your number a law suit by the Attorney will be brought against them and it won't cost you money , you may or may not receive some of the law suit money collected , it is according to which state you live in.
Once I called this company and told them my intentions and let them know I now knew where they were by looking them up on the internet, the person I spoke to was asking for my number twice and telling me I would be taken off their call list.

- I AM GLAD I FOUND THIS WEBSITE, THEY ARE TRYING TO GET AHOLD OF MY EX-HUSBAND AND STARTED TO THREATEN ME THAT I HAD TO PAY. I TOLD THEM I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR HIS DEBT. THEY ARE TRYING TO COLLECT ON SOMETHING THAT IS OVER (4) YEARS OLD AND IT HAS A DISPUTE FILED AGAINST IT. DOES ANYBODY KNOW THAT LAWS ABOUT THIS IN VIRGINIA??
