Called me too and they left no message. Tried to call it back and got no ringing... just hung up  on me

This is a Foodland Ontario #, and they are offering free organic beef, pork and poultry as well as information about the benefits or organically grown meats and produce.
They will be dropping off samples of meats and brochures about their initiatives in Ontario and looking for customer feedback.

Called twice in 2 minutes and didn't leave a voicemail. I tried calling back, no ringing just hung up on me. Very annoying, no matter what they want/selling I won't be answering that number any time soon!

I answered and a lady told me who she was and that they were going to drop off free samples of meat, and when would the best time be? I said I wasn't interested, and she said "don't worry, it's free! and we won't be coming over without your permission" and I said I did not give her permission to even drop off the samples and she asked why not and i told her my reasons and again that I wasn't interested. Then she asked me when a good time to call me back would be, and I said very calmly, "let me be perfectly clear, i do not want you to call me again" and she said...wait for it..."I'm going to call you again" and hung up. I cold tell she was smiling when she said that.

Grrr, this woman just called my house at 10:35pm on a Friday night trying to offer organic beef samples.

I can almost guarantee that this was the same lady.  Exactly the same attitude and disrespect.  Called at 20:19 on a Wednesday evening, but after I explained about my name being on the CRTC Do Not Call List, and explaining that I didnt want to be called back...yep her response was, "That's OK I'll call back from time to time.  Talk to you soon."  and she hung up.

I sent an email to Foodland Ontario and copied it to my MPP Jim Wilson.

Called offering me free meat samples I said sure but gave them a fake address.

Would not identify themselves

Called offering me free meat samples i said no thanks. Told her I had free long sausage if like to have some of that? She hung-up that was to bad my sausage is 100% organically made.

someone called, my kids were fighting, so I just hung up.
They called back and left me an obsence message. Can't believe someone would do that from a work phone.
I called CRTC and filed an official complaint.

She said her name is Jodie and calling from local ontario farmers calling me at 9:15 PM .Giving meat samples and dont worry someone from our office will call you to (confierm ) thats how she pronounce it not even a good grammar LOL...

They just called my work asking for the office manager, I said what can I help you with, she said she was calling from the Laughton (???) Company.  When she asked me what my name was I hung up.  Not sure what it was in regards to but we have nothing to do with any kind of meat in this business

Got a call at 10:35 pm from 800-878-9635, when I answered there was no one there. I Googled the number and saw all of these posts. Is there any way to stop this person from calling us?

Whistle? Air horn? Screaming smoke alarm?

She also told me Ontario Farmers.... but that group doesnt seem to exist.. And I called and left a nasty message at Foodland but I am wondering if it was even them.....
She sounded hispanic.. based on her accent...
She asked me If I had kids, after I answered no to the first question of how many i shop for (2), then she asked if i was going to havekids or if they had grown up and moved out.
I've been dealing with infertility for 16 years and gave up totally 1 year ago on having children or adopting, so to have that question was RUDE! none of her darn business. When I told her that was rude to ask she said "oh ok" and hung up.

CRTC will be my next place to complain to as I am also on the DO NOT CALL list.

call from Jodie....very difficult to understand.  Said she is calling in support of local Ontario Farmers.  yeah right!  Didn't give me a chance to say "I don't want your free meat samples" and said they would be here next week to drop it off.  I tried asking more questions and she hung up. telemarketer for sure.  They best NOT come to the house!!!!!!

Called and left no message.  Reading all the posts and noticing a lack of respect for the Do Not Call List, it very much screams of a possible scam.  Will be reporting it to the CRTC.
