A company calling themselves Express Platinum Card is calling people with their bank info and claim that you applied online and are approved for a credit line of $5,000 but your card cannot be mailed until you pay the $99 deposit. It is a scam! Do not confuse them with American Express Platinum Card.

I also recieved a e-mail and stated that I would recieve a card and would be charged $19.95 each month. Iwould like to know how to get the $99.00 back from them

they called me yesterday claiming i was appoved  on 10-06-2011. i called to check number out and no anwser

This company is a fraud. How do I know? Well I used to work for them. They get your information from leads so if you applied for any financial assistant online, more than likely they will call you. Just like they lead you on, they lead new employees on as well. I knew this was online shopping card but what I didnt know is that they are lying about reporting to credit bureaus monthly. All that is BS and I found this out this week after only working for two weeks. I really think this company should be shut down because what they are doing is wrong. I just quit and I not gonna back!

So I have a question. Is thus a company that u can really shop online with and if so what do they sell. Because they charged my card and I don't know what the heck is going on.

I got that same phone call today and they had all my info. I waited and called back and a lady answered saying express platium and offering me that deal also when I asked how did they get my info.,they said that I applied but I didnt but I did apply for a student loan online.it's so wrong that ppl sell your info. to make a dollar. The internet isn't safe anymore.they need to be reported and stopped.They be sounding so professional but at the same time,it sounds to good to be true

they called me yesturday (10/27/2011) at 1:30pm so i answered the phone i talked to a man named James he told me that i had applied for a credit card and it is to help build my credit score because my credit score was low. so i asked him how much is on the card and what i have to do to get the card?! James replied and said well ms. parmley it is 5,500$ on the card but you have to pay 99$ up front to get the card i told him im not sure bout that he said yes ma'am its true i young girl thats 20 years old applied for the card but her mother called us and cussed us out because he daughter applied for the card and she spent 5,500$ up in on week. i said thats crazy i couldnt spend that much in 3weeks and i got kids. so he laughed it off and said if your interested then all you have to do is put the money on you card and we will take it off of there and i said well if i got approved then why do i have to pay yall 99$ he said because its the fee of recieving the card i said ok it sounds nice i will think about it and i will get back to you. he said to prove its real ill give you the number and the extentsion number were you can reach me at i said ok so he gave me this number and the extention is 778 i wrote it down along with his name then he begin to read me all my information it was right so this is what really made me go along with it but i told him i will get back to him within a week he said he put in the computer that i can pay it by the 4th and if not make sure i call them back and tell them that i dont want it or i can ask for a longer date if i chose too. i didnt know they were a scam untill reading these online statements and i thought this was crazy i cant believe it.

they also told me to pay them 19.95 a month along with the interest that i take off the card like if i take off 600$ all i would have to pay back it 30 a month until the 600 is take off by the credit bureau i believed it i really did its crazy how small this world is and what you can find out on the internet.

i got the same call. just like gussed its a scam            i had just applayed for a loan online...
and i also got a call from a card co. called horizon gold. thay sayed i was approved for a $500 credit line
all the card would cost me was $29.99 so i i payed it. i have payed that for other credit cards that was real...i did not think much of the $29.00 i was geting a $500 credit line!! but it was scam too. i got the card. thay convently forgot to to tell me i could only use it at this one store from horizon gold..
the store had nothing nobody needed it was way over priced..junk fron japan.+

I have given them information.  What should I do?

The number does work ,I called myself and talked to them ,the deal is 99. for proccess fee and just like american express yearly fee ,,only it is broke out over 12 mo, Now the payment on the card is 5% of the bill the least you can pay for your charges ,the yearly fee is broke out over 12 mo 19.95 look at american express 450.00 year and some as much as 2000. Now after the 99.00 has cleard your account and the Express people have that conformation ,,,then the so called card is processed and mailed out to you from the time it clears your account it is about 7-10 days Now has anyone really paid the fee and on top that been waiting over 14 days? The place is in NV, and it is a credit card company ,,not a bank and it is for people to help rebuild there credit .The man I spoke with was pretty clear but shady as well he said people write this crap to just write and that most of the people the 99 never cleared the account and you must show 99.00 and avarage amount each mo,so the 19.95 gets paid ,if you have been over drawn are bounced a check you will not be approved what is the point of getting 99.00 if it has been going on as far back as oct that placed would be closed scams are short and sweet there not going to just keep going besides the account number and name is on the withdraw its not debit chard , there is proble so small word used that is the deal breaker only people really on heard 5500. and sign me up so it is best to record your end as well and turn them in if in dault.

I am not sure how you did it but I had them tell me what information was on file I did not need to give them any the man had it all bank ,SS, number mailing he had it so how did that happen I never aplyed for a loan it is crazy..

Is this Real,,, there has to be a way to stop it and get the funds back it pisses me off now 99, is not alote but it is the point and how did the people get the information.

You dont need to give them the information! I said NO and he told me what he had and it was all mine down to the bank and ss .So you have to wonder how the people got the information I never gave him the information he called it out to me so is it a scam
