Answered phone and caller promptly hung up.

Caller leaves message saying that Verizon is crediting $73 to my cell phone account and that I should call to enable the credit. When I tried calling the number I got a busy signal.

Received two calls from (800) 888-9615 today.  First time, at 4:37pm, I missed it and they did not leave a message.  They called back at 4:57pm and I answered but it was dead air.  I've tried calling back since they tried calling twice within a short time frame and I only get a busy signal.  Seems strange so I googled and came to this site which shows others have been receiving strange calls in the same time frame.

The same thing happened to me right now! I didn't say anything for about 10 seconds waiting to hear soemthing and when i said hello they immediately hung up. It's actually a bit scary.

1-800-888-9615 rang me and hung up about 10 minutes ago.

Just called me twice and hung up when I answered.

just called the # and message said it was disconnected.

Recording said you get $93.00 off your Verizon bill by logging into www.vz93.com.  I think I've rec'd several of these calls but this is first time I have listened to the MSG.

Called me TWICE on SUNDAY evening! I'm so furious right now, and it was recorded message saying that I have $73 in credit with Verizon. I don't have Verizon service and I just got this phone number a couple of a weeks ago. Does any know who I can file a complaint to, because this is total crap.

This phone number 8008889615 has called me twice in the last 20 minutes. It is almost 8pm where I am at. I answered the second time they called. Something about how I can get 93$ off my next Verizon bill if I visit some vzw93. com. Figured it was a scam. Hopefully they don't call again.

Called twice today (Sunday, of all days) between 4 and 5 PM my time. No message.  I do not answer unknown numbers.

Two calls on Sunday afternoon, and one from Friday - - two from 9615 and one from 9614. The 9615 left a truncated message the second time. They have been added to my Do Not Answer list.

800-888-9615 called me twice on Saturday about 16 minutes apart. I didn't answer but I tried calling the number back ( to vent at whoever it was) and heard  something about hot men and women. It said for hot men, women should press 1 and for hot women, men should press 2. I hung up immediately and have gotten calls from this number 2 more times about 16 minutes apart on Sunday night. I called my cell provider and have had this number blocked.  

This number, as well as one that ends in 9616 have been calling me off the hook for about a month now. Four of five times a day. Rarely do they leave a message. When they do, or when I answer, I get much of the same that previous posts have mentioned. I'm really getting quite annoyed at my phone going off at all hours due to this number(s).

For about a week now, I have been receiving calls from 1-800-888-9612, 9613, 9615 and 9616.  No message, and they always hang up.  Is there something else going on besides the scam messages everyone is mentioning?
