I got a call from this number yesterday, I answered it and the call was immediately disconnected. I got another call from this number, I didn't answer it and no voice mail.

I got a call from this number yesterday, and one again today.  I let it ring, but then called back.  If you dial it there is a recorded message asking to "Press 1 if you'd like to speak with a Verizon Wireless Sales Representative".

I got a call from this # with no voicemail today! So I didn't call back but I'm curious as to who it is?

Got a call from this number once before.  The person said they were from Verizon but then asked for someone I did not know.  I said that it was kind of funny that I am a Verizon subscriber and this person supposedly from Verizon Wireless apparently called the wrong number.  He gave me some standard line about how I could call such and such a number to complain.  I just hung up.  If he was from Verizon than he should have known who I was.  Not sure if this was a scam or what.

I received a call from this number today. No message was left. Thank you all for your posts. Helps to avoid a scam.

Got a call from them at 9pm. I go to bed at 8:30pm, so the idiots woke me up. Very aggravating.

I keep getting daily calls from this number, it's rings about once and then hangs up every time

I was getting calls from this number 2 or 3 times a day.  One day my son answered the phone to find out it was Verizon calling. The next time the number came up he started talking to the person and acting like he was a very old, lonely man with no one to talk to.  He chatted about cats, the weather, the price of gas, having no money, how hard it is to take public transportation when your old and numerous other things.  After 10 minutes they hung up and have not called back since.

It's Verizon. They called and tried to get me a new phone/service. The operator didn't know his [***] from his elbow, was all disorientated and was of no help. I'm not changing my service anyhow, i still have their unlimited internet plan.

This number call my phone every other day. Whenever I answer, it disconnects or I hear complete silence. When I call it back, it says it's Verizon Wireless representative. I already have Verizon and I always pay my bill.. so there's no reason for them to be calling my phone. Probably some scam number.

They're trying to sell a new phone..

This is a scam. I have had this number call me before, about 2 years ago. I immediately called the Verizon Wireless Customer Service number on their website and they explained it wasn't legit. I then password protected my account with a Verizon rep. Therefore anytime someone from "Verizon" calls me, I can ask them what my account password is. The only people that would actually have my password would be Verizon.

This number just called me today and when I asked them for my Verizon password they said they didn't need it since I had already identified myself. SCAM!

I've gotten atleast ten calls from this # and I don't know why

Repeated calls once or twice a day.   Caller ID shows "not provided."    Leaves no message on my answering machine.    You always have to wonder about people who won't provide their name.   If they're hiding something as basic as who they are, how can you trust them?

I have been getting calls from this number repeatedly.I called Verizon and asked them if they can block it. They did block the number but I was also informed that we can block our own set of numbers on the website.Log into your account and you can block up to 5.

Please stop calling my cell number, it is constant.  I get about 2-3 calls everyday from this darn number and I want it to end.

Three calls from these people in 2 days, I didn't pick up and they didn't leave voicemail. Annoying.

verizon wireless calling to let you know your  your 2 yrs contract is up & you can upgrade your phone...

Does submitting this really stop them or do they just change numbers
