called 9AM, no reponse when answered

This is Compass Bank. They'll call and leave you a recorded message anytime you're bank account is overdrawn.

call from 800-895-6622, recorded call stating they had important message concerning our account.  We do not have nor have we ever had an account with Compass Bank.  I would think if they are going to call with an IMPORTANT message concerning an account they would at least have a human on the line.  

Bunch of waste of time and energy.

Received msg. regarding overdrawn account.  I don't have an account with them.  Stay away! Don't go there!

Received vm a few times always at work. Saying there's an issue with my account to call back 800 compass. I ignored the first couple times. Checked my account online, no overdrawn or unauthorized acvities, none...today received another vm, so I called the bank, but use the # from the bank of the debit card. The CS confirmed my account is good, in fact they don't have my work # on file.  Asked if she could find out if there was such a call from the bank to me (on file), nope... so I'm beginning to think it's a scam at worst or they're just having phone dialer problems.

It is compass bank and they call here for someone who doesn't live here.  They have been told that numerous times and yet they keep calling.  

After enough of their nonsense I blocked their number.  Problem solved.  Call blocking is a wonderful thing, it works much better than the Do Not Call list.

I repeatedly receive calls from this number. I called back to inform them I do not have, nor have I ever had, an account with this bank.  They asked for my social security number to verify information.  I did not give it but they offered to place my home number on the DO NOT CALL LIST.

Its possible that someone accidentally used your phone number and thats why they are calling.

It is also possible that your identity is stolen and someone has made an account in your name.

Instead of acting like a bunch of immature kids about it, it might be in your best interest to answer it.
