Did it turn out to be true? Or was it a scam?

Checking into this and will let the public know if it is a scam or if its legit. We are about to pay for it. We are supposed to be immediately in the Cruise line's system once we pay. I'll let you know once we get the confirmation.

This is a scam all the way!

paid $180. for the cruise for 2. then when i tried to book one I was told it would be an additional $148 per person port charges and $48 per person for "peak season" sailing. all this for an interior room. scammed? yeah. smarter? hope so. told them to send me back my money and of course they said they don't make refunds. We booked our own cruise on the same ship, have a window and it cost $75. more than it would have through these thieves. i have sent letters to the atty general of arizona and the atty general of florida. florida frowns on "outsiders" scamming their citizens.

I checked them out and found out it is a scam. See below

I bought a cruise for 20 people for $94 per person, now they came up with all those other charges: port departure fee $140, and booking and ticketing fee $107...
And they refuse to give me my money back...
I found out couple of thigs about them...

    From a FORMER employee:

To everyone who is a member to any one of the below listed fraudulent companies:

... I wish to say that I am sorry... I had no Idea this company that I worked for was like this. Please take this information and do what you have to do with it.

Royal Palm Vacations, Travel Services USA, United Vacation Network, Suncoast Vacations, Suncoast LLC, World Vacations, Imperial Incentives... and many more names... all the same company... many different lawsuits with Atty generals and the state of FL... All ran out of Tampa Bay... (Largo, FL) actually.

For all of you Royal Palm members... there is NO office in Nevada... we were told to tell you that so you could not find where they were...

Google any of the above listed names, or look on ABC Action News of Tampa Bay... and search any of those above names... you will see big news reports of scams...

They never have any vacations available to you... if you place a request for vacation, they will respond "sorry, no avail" which means no availability... when they never even check. For airfare, we used the same websites that you at home do... travelocity, orbits, and expedia... then we would add a percentage to that price because we had to make some money too... So, all this company does is take your $3000.00 - $6000.00, and your ASC (Annual Service Charge). Then they sit there, and do nothing except to reply to you..."sorry no avail" and continue collecting your ASC every year...

To anyone who is a member of any one of those listed fraudulent companies, ... I highly suggest contacting the Florida Atty General, and the Nevada Atty General... good luck all...

FYI: Christy Daniels is the Office Manager (she was in prison for a few years because she was running a fraudulent business before working for these companies... funny huh?!), Amanda is the office supervisor... and the owner of all those false and fraudulent businesses is... Nick Congleton.

received the same call today on my seven year old phone line. I wonder how they got the number. I requested a pnone number where I could call them back because I was a little busy. When they told me their company name,"Travel services " I became a little worried. The CSR tried to reassured me by stating they will send me an e-mail to confirm the deposit receipt as a good faith but that was too little to satisfy me.
    Please stay away.

Same Cruise Line Scam. I thought it was pretty legit until she asked for my credit card number on the spot. That sort of thing always prompts me to do research. Of course, I was offered the same deal as the individuals above, but when she required the 188 bucks immediately I decided to look here and BOOM Scamtastic.

Thanks to all of you for reporting your experience.

These scammers (his name was Angel)  called my husband and stated the same as everyone else did.Let me add that he is relentlessly persuasive.  So i called them back to find out the information, let him read his script to me and then questioned whether it would be legitimized through the companies he said it went through, carnival, royal carribean and norwegian.(which he said it would be, but i called carnival and reported it to them and they said no).he also could not tell me where he got my phone number.  He very much took offense at me accusing him of being a scammer and did not have much to say when i told him what i found online about them.
After much heated conversation, it was obvious to me that it was a scam.  Customer service people that are legit will not raise their voice to customers as he did to me.  I hope no one will give them money! They should not be called Travel Services, they should be called, forced to book services, because even if you do it through them, im sure you will get a cruise, but at a much higher rate then initially told.  I hope this helps you all . :)

Received call,  My they sure talk fast.  Sounded persuasive until the cc comes up to pay upfront tax fee.  I put off until looking into.  The BBB of Arizona did not have any info regarding Travel Services US and referred me to the AZ attorney general.  Whom would not give out private info but referred me to look into logs to see if this company has been reported in the past.  I still as of yet cannot find direct info stating it is a scam other than these comments.  The company TS, states they are with BBB but this is one thing I found incorrect.  I have won cruises before and have had to pay upfront fees.  But this one just sounds to good to be true.  If anyone finds out more, please post :)  There are always fees when upgrading, peak seasons and port of call.  I just didn't think the way Paul Burns came across was fully trusted.  Gut feeling I guess.
