DirecTV calling because of bill past due by one month.

I have Directv and am not past due.... getting calls from this no., and they never leave a msg...

This is directv.  usually it is a courtesy call when you are late with a payment.  Even by just a couple of days. They change the number they call from so it is difficult to label it in your phone

I don't mind calls from Direct TV and other companies that I receive services from.  I am just glad that it isn't another telemarketer.

Direct TV has an F grade rating by the Better Business Bureau.Enough said.

How stupid can these people be?
First, their computer calls me THEN asks to verify our phone number.
We are NEVER late with our bill and we will also be cancelling our crappy service in about 9 months when our contract expires.
I don't know where they get their data from that Direct T.V. has the best customer service but they obviously ignore all of the negative comments that are sent in.
Not only did the person who signed us up LIE (he said that they would extend the introductory price of $44.95 for the entire contract) they would also throw in Showtime, Encore, and the like FREE for the duration of our contract. Of course when the first year was up our monthly fee DOUBLED. When we called them they said that they were aware that some telemarketers that they had hired were doing that BUT they were not liable to honor it. What a crock of [***]! SHAME ON YOU DIRECT T.V.!!!

Thes call came into my cell phone - I don't want solisitations to my cell phone

I called Direct TV on July 6, 2010 to let them know that I would be making past due pymt on July 14. Told woman to make notations on account so that no one would call again before the 14th. Got a call Sunday night. Called the morning of July 12 and spoke to another woman who verified that I had talked to someone on the 6th. Told her to make notations again and that if I got another call I would call the Better Business Bureau. Got another call at7:15 p.m. July 12 from a man and told him all that had gone on and that that I would be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. The interruption date for service is July 17 but they start calling right after the 1st of the month every day whether you have spoken to someone or not.

WARNING, WARNING, WARNING!!!!!! This IS NOT Direct TV, IT IS FRAUD. second time in the past 6 months I've gotten these calls. Direct TV has specific prompts to ID you. I called DTV and verifiied that THIS NUMBER IS NOT  legitimate. If you want to test them....call them back, give no personal info...simple ask them the mailing address where you can send the payment and they'll hang up on you.  THEY ARE PHISHING TO STEAL YOUR ID AND PASSWORD AND CC/BANKING INFO IF YOU ARE STUPID ENOUGH TO GIVE IT TO THEM. Call the number on the bill 800-531-5000 for DTV.  AGAIN, 800-913-6587 is not Direct TV. WARNING,WARNING,WARNING!!!!!!!

called 802PM outobot states "call for (my name)" ,  "if that is who is answering press 1". Repeated 3 times, auto hang up. Call robot never stated who was calling.

To steal your ID and password and CC/banking info if you are stupid enough to give it to them. Call the number on the bill 800-531-5000 for DTV. Again, 800-913-6587 is not Direct TV. Warning, warning, warning!!!!!!!

What a scam.

This is Direct TV and their no customer service department about past due billing. Even if you have previously advised what day you are paying on their site they keep calling. Now when they call I won't give them any answers and tell them to have a nice day.

Seem to be direcTV but to the guy that says to bad we can't block them.  You can I have a Uniden phone that with 2 pushes of a button I am not bothered and pay no fees to block the number.  Model Number BH700037316 Best thing I've ever bought blocks up to 50 numbers.  I know there are other phones that do this too.  Just look for the block button.

With this number it is really not DirecTV. I called the company and they checked everything and said that the number is not even in their with their company. They also told us that they had nothing showing up in their system of anyone contacting us. Plus we are not behind on the bill so they shouldn't be contacting us anyway.

called 5-23-12 between 10:30am and 10:55am, did not leave a message,  Direct tv or not marketing to cell phones is illegal.  There has been a rash of calls to this cell phone so ether a bold soon to be short lived crook is having  a run or it is an out of country criminal( at least the IRS might go after  them when the police fail to bring murdering drug dealers to justice...the IRS gets them behind bars and keeps them there.)  or a 3rd option the telemarketing industry has found the loop holes and the lack of real enforcement and hasd started to resume their old tricks.
