Calling day and night according to my call history. When I finally answered, someone said "Hello?Hello?" and hung up!

In an hour or so the phone rang again. I answered and a man asked for some people I don't know. He said he is from Sears calling about some warranty. I said wrong number and told him to never call this number again.  

Called ID shows this number about four times a day, could be any time, morning, afternoon and/or evening. The one time I did answer, it was Sears, offering some warranty on something I bought there. I said, "No, thanks" and hung up. They've been calling ever since. I answered one other time and there was no one there.

They just called, and didn't leave a message.  Telemarketers?  

This is in fact Sears warranty service.  I called the number back.  I have been getting about four or five a day for the past two weeks.  I called them back and requested a manager because this is just plain harrassment.

I also get this number on the caller id several times a day. I too finally called it back today. There was an automated voice saying it was Sears warranty protection or something along that line.

many many phone calls, day & night, weekends, nights on weekends I had already talked to Sears about not wanting the warranty service (from another 800#) and now getting calls from this one, even after I told them not to call again.

I also get this 800 number on the caller id several times a day. I got rid of my message recorder so I don't let these callers laving unwanted messages or nothing at all. With caller ID if I don't know the 800 number I don't answer!

I just called this number (after receiving about 4 calls per day, beginning at about 8 am each day) and I listened to the menu, then stayed on the line to speak with a human.  I told the human that I wanted to be removed from the calling rotation.  He was perfectly nice and said he would remove my number from the list.  He did make an attempt to keep me on the line saying something like "are you sure you don't want to hear about _____?" I did in fact purchase Sears appliances a few years ago and they have been hounding me by mail AND by phone, ever since.  However, as I have discovered many times in the past, a phone call to the annoying party is all that is needed to stop the madness!  I know it's a hassle but these callers can be stopped and it is our right to do so.

They also kept calling without leaving a message.  I called them and requested them to stop calling me.  Sounds like it's done.

I got a call but they did not leave a message. I did *67 to block my number and called this number back. An automated message picked up saying it was Sears Protection Agreement.

I got a call about an hour ago on my cell number.  They left a  message regarding warranty renewal, I do have warranties thru Sears but never use my cell number. So not sure how they got this number

do not call.  i am on do not call list,  do not want your calls. thank you. i have and will again report to better business bureau.

Yea, I got a few calls from these guys today, when i picked up the phone - all i heard was silence...

Called back asking for a manager, and instead they hung up on me.

Since my number is listed on www.donotcall.gov  i just filed a complaint!!!

I recommend, you'all do the same:
1. register your number with www.donotcall.gov
2. after 31 days, each of those stupid telemarketers that calls ya, find out their comp. name and phone # and FILE A COMPLAINT.

Maybe that will stop 'em.

(Feb 19-07) Virtually everyone's above "unwanted call report" for 800-927-2291 applied to me too. I didn't waste any time calling the number back after reading the reports from others. I waited for the next incoming call and answered it. I demanded to speak to "a manager right now!" and was immediately transferred to one. He explained that they are in fact "Sears Warranty" and are using an automated system. I explained I'd been receiving numerous calls the past 2 weeks registered from this number on my caller ID and no one leaves a message. On Sat (Feb 17-07) two calls were registered 11 minutes apart on my caller ID. He said that it is not possible to leave a message because of their automated system so I said to "change it"!!! I told him I wanted to be removed from their calling list and wanted the calls to STOP immediately. The manager said it will take about 30 days to be removed from their list. If you answer the next incoming call, there will be a delay until you get transferred to a human so don't hang up, a human will eventually answer. In the meantime, I also suggested he visit this website to read the "unwanted call reports" posted. Hope this info provided will help others. Aloha from Hawaii!

I receive this call several times a day even on the weekends at 8pm, now that's just stupid. I already have a warranty from sears so why do they still call? I wont be getting another one and if this is how they treat warranty customers I don't even want the one that I have.

I just got a call on my cell phone from this same number.  I NEVER list my cell phone number when I make purchases etc.  I too purchased some sort of appliance from Sears but it was some time ago.  I too am registered on donotcall.gov.  I have to wonder how they got my cell phone number.  I've only received one call so far but will monitor.

I have been getting calls twice per day for the past weeks.  There is never a message left.  After readings posted here, I finally called the number to complain and it was Sears Warranty.  Although I have a Sears warranty, the phone rep said they were trying to contact another person at this number.  I have had my phone number for 15 years and nobody by that name has ever been here.  I was told they would note it as a wrong number in their records.      

I answered and asked who they wanted ... it was for the previous subscriber assigned my new cell (VZW) number.  I've had several callers and one SMS for the previous number holder.  Human on 800-927-2291 said they'd remove the number, but I've had one more call a few hours later.
