Calling day and night according to my call history. When I finally answered, someone said "Hello?Hello?" and hung up!
In an hour or so the phone rang again. I answered and a man asked for some people I don't know. He said he is from Sears calling about some warranty. I said wrong number and told him to never call this number again.
I would get calls, but it wasn't until I entered the PCH Sweepstakes, that I started getting these calls every day, several times a day like the rest of you. I was wondering if any of you had entered the PCH Sweepstakes?
This person is ticking me off. i will answer that phone next time. But, what if he knows where we live, thats why im scard. 0.0. How did he get our number in the first place.
While searching through my caller ID I saw that this number had come up quite a few times, so naturally I searched it on the internet first. After reading some unhelpful postings, I decided to call the number and see what happened. After many prerecorded messages I got to talk to a nice lady to whom I explained my concerns and she said all I needed to do was to give her my phone number for confirmation that it was me and then she put me on the do not call list. I guess tomorrow we will see if it worked!
No it won't!!! I've been filing complaints with the DO NOT Call Registery for over a year and they DO NOT take care of any of them!!! These are calls that I DO NOT do business with!!! I think I am going to file harassment charges against them!!!
I've gotten several calls from this number over the past few days, usually later in the evening around 8 to 9pm, but the call disconnects after the first ring. I called it back tonight and was advised that there is some type of glitch in their automated call out software that their IT people are working on. I do have a Sears product with a warranty that is about up, so it may be a legitimate call that is just not connection due to the software problem.
I have received several of these calls in the last month. So I finally called it. My caller ID listed it from Sears Protect. The operator put me on their Do Not Call list and that will take up to 30 days to take effect. So we will see.
Called ID shows this number about four times a day, could be any time, morning, afternoon and/or evening. The one time I did answer, it was Sears, offering some warranty on something I bought there. I said, "No, thanks" and hung up. They've been calling ever since. I answered one other time and there was no one there.
They seem to callus 6 7 times a day. I would hang up on them and they call back, will not leave us alone. I am reporting to the do not call and will see what will happen.
