- annoyed resident| 3 repliesI received a call from a man who called himself Dale. He was asking for a third party (asked if she was a neighbor). He called asking for my boyfriend. I said he was not home. He asked if this third party lived in an apartment near mine and if I knew her. I asked where he was calling from and he said DCS. I asked if he was that was a collection agency and he said he was not at liberty to say. He wanted to know about this third party. I said that I did not know her and even if I did I would not give out personal information to an unidentified caller. I said to him, so you're calling my home for someone who may live near me. I told him I would not help him and hung up on him. What right does he have to try to get me to spy on my neighbors and release information to him. That's crazy.

- blank| 2 repliesI received a call from this number but they left a message with a different number for me to call. Both numbers appear to be collection agencies, but each message is about an "application" that I filled out and they're trying to get a hold of one of my references. I also got an e-mail.

- KayeScum bags! I do not know the women they are calling about but since she lives down the street they feel that they can call me, be rude, and ask me to give her a mes from them? I asked who they were calling from and she would not say but hung up on me. I called her back, love *69, and she hung up on me again when I said to not call my house and that I did not know the women down the block and would not give her a mes from a collection agency.

Job? yeah, where? You hiring? - snakesI got a call today from 800-927-7667 stating I was left as a reference and to call them back. So I did and they were looking for someone I knew over 5 years ago in another state. I occurred to me that they called a friends number and left a message on a phone that is not in my name and that I don't use so I called them back again to find out who they were and Pam stated "It doesn't matter." I told her it did and wanted to protect my identity and she argued a while but finally said DSC and I asked where they were located and she said TX.

- LT| 1 replyAmanda from DCS called my previous employer from 2001 informing my former boss that she was just on the phone with me and we got disconnected. Amanda demanded to speak to other employees stating that there had to be SOMEONE there with my phone number. Amanda also demanded to speak to a supervisor! When my former employer informed Amanda that she was more than a supervisor, she's the owner, Amanda became irrate and hung up. My former boss called Amanda back, she was immediately routed to Amanda, whom once again hung up on her. Calling neighbors, lying about just getting disconnecting and wanting a reference seem to be part of the daily harassmemt duties of a DCS worker. If you read their ripoff report, you'll be sickened by Yvette's report of harassmemt as she lay going through chemo. These DCS cultish, lying, "employees" perhaps should open up their own bounty hunting company, as their crass, rude, malicious tactics show they are out for blood.

- cpA neighbor stopped by and told me they received a call from someone asking questions about us, such as, where we worked. He said it was a lady and she said she was calling from Texas. He has caller id and wrote the number down for us. I called the number and got a recording that it is a collection agency. We have no tax debt, we have always received a refund and no defaulted loans. We thought that maybe there was a mistake with the credit bureaus so we got reports from the 3 major crdit reporting companies and there wasn't anything on them either. I guess I will call this company tomorrow but from everyone else's comments, it does not seem as though I will get any answers. We are furious about this call to a neighbor especially when we have nothing out there but an apparent scam on their part. Does anyone know how to handle this or if what they did (calling a neighbor)is even legal? I don't even have an address for them.

- ShockedToday I received a message from my husband that someone called from DCS Inc. looking for a family member of mine. I asked what they wanted, they would leave no message, said only that this was the last phone number and address for the family member. Well, we just moved to this area a few months ago and this particular family member has no information regarding the new address or phone number. So, then the woman proceeds to say that she has spoken with the family member's mother, my husband laughs and says, she has been dead for over 10 years, she then says oh, the step mother, wrong again, never had one, the parents were married forever. My husband then proceeds to tell the woman that the family member has never lived with us and is not even welcome in our home and she should not trust anything that he tells her.

- JulieTHey just called here looking for my mother in law saying that my husband was a reference for an APPLICATION she filled out. Okay, if you left messages about an application she filled out and was going to be approved for- she would have called you back! Instead I investigated online to find out the number... Interesting that they do this. then she said "if Marilyn gives me permission to talk to you i can discuss this with you" well wouldn't marilyn need to call? So I called my mother in law and told her. she has never programmed my new number in her cell phone- so how would she have known it to give it out? she keeps everything in the cell phone.

- BJGirl (Christy Swanson) called my home phone number and reported she was looking for my son as he had applied for a job and used me for a reference. My son is currently unemployed, to discover this is falsifying reason for locating him. Looked number up on internet to discover a collection agency. Just plain harrassment. Something should be done about these calls!!!!
She even had the nerve to say it was time sensitive still making it sound as if he had a job and gave her ext # of 2618.- Caller: DCS

- family memberZach Taylor called looking for a family member. I responded I had not seen him in months. I asked what the call was in reference to and he stated it was a business venture. He ask that I pass the word along to his mother (which I am not doing, why should she worry more than she does about her son). I had the feeling it was a collection agency and confirmed it by reading these posts.
Here is an additional number for a direct line to Zach from DCS 1-325-224-6153. When I presses Zach to tell me what DCS stood for he said it did not stand for anything. Who is he trying to kid.- Caller: DCS
