Claim to be MRS Associates.  Called one house asking for me and saying it was a "personal matter."  Then quoted something close to my cellphone number but without the right area code.  

I called back and they wouldn't tell me what MRS associates was.  I told them I thought it was a scam.  They went to go transfer me to another person but I hung up.  Stupid people.

Continueing to get aclls from this nasty collector even after filing a cease and desist letter in conjunction with a bankruptcy filing.  Nasty little man leaving implied threats on my voicemail.  The company needs a class action lawsuit against them for continuously violating the FDCPA. Perhaps recording the messages and submitting them for $1000 fine per violation woul dput them out of business. :D

DO NOT ANSWER THE PHONE!!! These people will do ANYTHING to get your money. They even went so far as to threaten prison over an account that was my wifes. They will only harass you over the phone so do not answer and make them send you correspondence in writing. These isiots even offered me a settlement which was 200 dollars more than the actual debt. These people are criminals for real, do not talk to them, and if you do answer the phone do not believe anything that they say.

MRS Associates have have been calling my house twice a day since the beginning of November looking for someone other than me. I am a one person household and just closed on my new house: therefore, I do not have any credit problems (other than the bank now owns me!). I do not know the person they are looking for. I have called them 1/2 dozen times to tell them this and ask that they stop calling me. And, they continue to call my home looking for this person.  I have files a complaint with Qwest Annoyance Bureau and now I am about to pursue filing complaints with the AG's office and the Federal Trade commission.

These people do not give up they call at leat 4 times every day, they even call on sundays and i think that is illegal or it should be.

These people call 5-8 times a day.  I actually answered the other day and the women proceding to talk to me like I was the person she was looking for, when I told her she had the wrong number she preceded to tell me that she had already talked to all of my family who confirmed that I did live here and for me to stop playing games with her.  I was shocked which ended in a long pause and I hung up on her.  I was told to keep a daily phone log in which I will use against MRS if they continue to harras my home.

they called our house looking for my wife's aunt. When my wife picked up and  told them that she doesn't live here and asked what company they're from and what type of business they want with her aunt, they said they can't disclose that. Stupid. Is that how you solve a problem? look at what we did. We tracked the number down and found out that they're from a collection agency doing dirty and improper business tactics - thanks to website like this. Good luck mrs, we will never pick up the phone for you again

They call a Legal Office, Yes a Legal Office to harass.  Will not cease and desist either.  We are in the process of legal procedings against this POS company.

Very Harrassing people and we don't even know the person they were looking for, but they were harrasing us.

Spoke to them twice already ( they also left a few nasty messages a few other times) about some debt that is 10 years old. Not even mine, but claims so. They recently told me they were coming after by any means possible, but they have yet to even SEND ME ANY INFO REGARDING THIS CLAIM after I told them I wanted validity of this debt. They also said they report to the credit bureaus, but 1. the debt is 10 years old, and 2. I just got all my credit reports and of course nothing.

1. I told them I would be recording the call for my own security. One claimed it was against their policy to allow that and the other said "Fine, I don't care". No consistency in the company.
2. Told them to mail me a collection letter so I can "legally" dispute the validity of the claim. 4 months, no letter.

Do not stoop to their level and get into a match with them. I think they enjoy it. Simply follow what the law says. If they break, then of course consult a lawyer if it gets that stressful.

First off, I hope that Micheal Allen, Sr. Acct. Administrator at MRS Associates, Cherry Hill, NJ goes to prison.  These guys have been harrassing me for a while.  Don't give them ANY personal info.  Refuse to speak with them on the phone.  DON'T give them email address or work/fax number.

Tell them you want written documentation of the claim, mailed to "the address on file."  If they don't have it, they don't have a case.  Don't update ANY information, don't tell them what you do.  They will ask if you are an attorney.  Refuse to answer this - it scares them.

If they mail you a claim, dispute it immediately, and mail the dispute with certified mail.  Then they have a time limit to mail you the paperwork.  They will call you and try to fax/email it.  REFUSE.  Tell them you don't have either.  They will yell and scream and harrass you some more. They will threaten you.  Then you can sue the [***]. Hang up, and they will call you back.  Then you can sue the [***].

They just called asking for JR.  I asked what company they are with and would they like to leave a message.  She replied, "Don't lie to me.  You're asking a lot of questions to not be him.  Put him on the phone."  I told them that he does not live here and that I do not have a number for him.  They have called 9 times today between 8am and 6pm.

Do NOT answer any of their questions.  If it is truly a valid debt they MUST send documentation to the address on file.

I keep getting calls from this number.  They say they are a collection agency and need to reach my daughter.

they called me a cheap a.. on my voicemail I saved it for a long time and then accidently erased it. They are very rude.

They just called me looking for my father.  We don't live in the same area code, let alone same house.  Furthermore, I have no idea how they even got my number, as he and I don't even have the same last name.  I've set up my phone to block their calls now, and I do not intend to call them back.

I just started getting calls from this number in the past few days, have not answered, checked this website out first and for sure won't answer now, I have no idea why they are calling , we have an unlisted number, good credit, no collection claim.  If MRS starts to get bombarded with legal violations, that'll put a sock in their collective mouths!!

This conmpany is calling at least twice a day. They ask for someone that does not live here. We have lived here for 25 years and for 25 years have had the same phone number. I contacted them and the question was "why did she use your phone number"....... They said they would take our number off their list but the calls still continue. How can I make them stop.
