...Thats right commissions ! And you wonder why most of the collectors do not follow the laws that govern collection agents. It's easy to find out if  a agent is breaking these laws, like calling your cell phone, calling repeatedly, calling to early or to late, ect...To find out what the laws are in your area  http:///www.Google.com is your friend :)

Also the same company call from 866-427-3655 (Call ID shows 8664273655) and this woman call she her name is DEBBIE. At first the number show in the caller id but now she is useing *67 and I know what that is not legal for collection agenecy. Please if anyone who can go after the [***] and really make them to stop. They call all during the night and I cant stand it. Why anyone want to get a job like that, doing what wrong and ILLEGAL. To ARC i say a big [***] YOU.

These people are driving me nuts as well. Here is there contact info. If I had her number at home I would give it to you!

Just go to the ARC web site http://www.arc.ca/ You will see that you need to contact Steve Dupuis, Vice President, National Recoveries. stdupuis@arc.ca . He is responsible for all collectors and should be the one queried about their actions. Leave him a message (he is on their phone directory) he will be more than happy to return your phone call and deal with you personally, in the most professional manner. LMFAO! I highly recommend that you record any and all conversations with this man as he will come unhinged if he feels his buttons are being pushed. Be advised that there is nothing illegal about recording someone and you do not have to tell them in advance.

you do have to warn them in advaced   due to the crtc   if you try to use it again them in court your evidence will not be accepted

Steve Dupuis of ARC is a disgusting little man. ARC in general are not to be trusted at either end of a collections contract. Avoid this company unless you are willing to become filthy by contact.

I have done my study in legal laws against collectors and sadly enough what they are doing is not illegal and as for debtors they are obligated to pay their bills, People you would not have this problem if you make your payments.

MC. you have a valid point about making payments. However other than my mortgage I have no debt. My mortgage is up to date (never missed a payment) and I have no credit cards. They keep calling me and harrassing me about a "RED CARD" Credit Card. A company that doesn't exist. Saying I owe 432.15.

I have asked for a phone number for this non existent credit card company. They refuse to give me any contact information and I am told I have to deal with them now. I did some looking on other websites and others have been given the same fake credit card debt story.

they called me once and im not sure why either , i believe someone used my name and or my adderess and phone no.because im well aware of bills i have owed or very few i now owe, and i only have a few cards and they are well taken care of so the calls have now lately been coming in again  and my wife linda and i have decided to resort to the the backup of a really good tape recorder and of corse we will be civil with them but we dont need them getting out of hand with us verbly as we dont owe them a dam cent. and we reallize they have been using the wrong phone no. but we will not stand for any foolishness from any of them  its right to the law office we go...........

Biggest laff with the ARC scum is the Ombudsman. Sure. Where do you think those emails go?

Oh really??  I'm getting calls from them on behalf of Rogers Wireless..... NO ONE in my household has been or will ever be a Rogers Wireless customer.  So I should pay fake bills to avoid harassing calls??  I think not!!

Same thing for me right now. Ive never had rogers and im current or ahead on everything. Ive been trying to call the number they left a voicemail with and it doesn't even ring, just disconnects. So now im here trying to find out who the number belongs to. Ive never been in collections and they can go [***] themselves over this imaginary debt.

I get call atleast twice  week from ARC saying I owe on a Rogers bill but I know I don't.I haven't had an active cell phone in over 4 years.I paid the contract out years ago and the bank confirmed that for me by saying I have no outstanding credit issues.I tried calling the company and all you get is a busy signal.They are so annoying.

Called my cell phone every Sunday regarding my Fido account. Only pre-recorded messages, no body ever dared to talk to me when I picked up the phone. I am on prepaid phone plan and have never used up the balance.  This company does not dare to talk to people they call. Their collection agents are only making random calls and report the quota requirement to the boss.
