Has called my cell phone twice in two days- this is the number they said to call them back at- the number on my caller ID showed up as a local number. They left a message saying they have a case # for someone I have never heard of and wanted to get this person's input for their case. Apparently they have the wrong number..

Very odd..I was given a message to call this number while I was at work today. I do not understand how they were contacting me there as I never list my work number for anything except for emergency purposes. Complete with a ref #. Apparently it was deemed as important. Of course, I didn't call it as it is suspect in nature.

Received a call last night to my home number and today to my cell number asking for a richard webb. I've never heard of the guy. They needed his input on a case before they made an important decision on his behalf. Yeah right. They better lose my numbers fast!

Received at least 5 calls from 800-949-3217.  The lady said her name was Liza Ramos and that my Ex brother-in-law had put my name down as an emergency contact.  I asked her if this was an emergency and she said yes and she gave me a case number.  I did some checking into the number and it connected me to a company called NRS.  The person that I spoke to was very vague regarding what their reason for calling me was and just said it involved a "case" for my ex brother-in-law.  I have to assume that it was a collections company.  I don't appreciate them calling me this way and acting like there was an emergency.  My wife is very ill and had to get out of bed to answer their telephone call.  I'm hoping that you can put a stop to this abuse.

    Thanks

My Mom got a call from this number today! First of all on her caller ID it came up as one of there local hospitals! They asked for my husband and my Mom thought w had been in an accident. The lady said her name was Liza Ramos with either Mrs or NRS Company. That she had a case number for my husband and my husband put her down as a contact/ reference??? Very Fishy!! My poor Mom said
the lady was very vague and spoke in a somber tone. Finally my Mother said
look lady has there been an accident? She said no!! My Mom hung up!! First of all my husband would not put my parents as his contact/reference/emergency contact! This is very odd!

Got a call from this woman named Joy - asking for my brother who lives in another state. I asked what it was referring to - she said she was doing her job. She asked again if I was my brother. I played the game and remained vague. I told her if she would tell me what the call was related to and the business name, I might be able to contact the person she was looking for. She gave up - asked me to pass the message along to my brother - gave me this 800-949-3217 tel number with a "case file" number. I called my bro and let him take care of it.

I as well was called at work and with no idea why I'm being called from this number or who it is I hope something is done about this company. The lady was very rude to my boss and it is embarrassing and makes me look bad in my job.

NRS. they asked for someone who has never lived here. I told them that. They wanted me to pass on the info. HELLO???????  what makes them think I even know the persons they are asking for?!? Just because it's the same last name?
I think they are just fishing names and numbers out of the phone books, even OLD phone books! Trouble is, they are mixing up names and numbers.

called this morning, as well as several other times. would not identify themselves, just asked for someone by the same last name. They asked me to forward information on to them. I told them I couldn't do that. Asked why, I told them that they didn't live here, and just because they asked for them here doesn't mean I even knew the person. (there are alot of people with my last name in my city, let alone the rest of the country!)
The caller said she was just doing her job, and asked why I had such an attitude. I told her that I was tired of getting several calls from a company that refused to identify themselves, insisted on talking to someone who didn't live here, or pressuring me to pass on information to someone I may not even know. If I don't like being bothered by these calls, why would I ever bother someone else with them?? Even if I could? She still said I needed a better attitude! I just told her not to call anymore and hung up.
Hubby doesn't answer them anymore, so I will do the same and just let it ring.
I searched the number on Google and found out it is NRS. Debt recovery? Telemarketing? Don't know.

got a message looking for an old roomate at 8am on a saturday The person left a number and ref number saying they were from MRS or NRS. Seeem to be a collection agency loking for the old roomate. The person asked if they should take the number off, I said yes. The person is probably from a collection agency. For those of you on here who complain about these calls, relax and either pay your bills or just politely say that you dont know the person and have the number removed. It isnt that hard. These people are just doing their job in trying to find deadbeats who dont pay their bills. These callers usually are also calling references who were added to a phone list legitamately when the person being looked for filled out an application to to get something of value to them. The real people people should be angry at are the peple who listed them as a reference and not legitimate business doing their due dilegence trying to contact people who dont update their information.

Pay your bills!! and if you cant seek credit counsling or hardship deferments. Be smart not a pissed off responsibility ducker!!

    Received a phone call today.
Number showed up as (623)399-4980, name Unavailable on caller ID.
Female caller (name given was Trish) asked for a person that is not in the home.
    Told them they weren't here.
The female caller (Trish) proceeded to still give me a phone number of 1(800)949-3217 with a reference number to give to the person not in the home.
    Trish gave no company name!
**Would someone please STOP whomever this company is that is making random phone calls asking for someone unknown, and giving you a phone number, and a reference number expecting you to pass on the information.**
