I did not answer and the caller did not leave a message.

Left no message. Do now know who it is. Called at 5:30pm.

Called at 10:06 AM but left no message when I didn't pick up the phone.

it's the Special Olympics calling...soliciting.

No Message Left.... call came through as "Toll Free Caller" with just 951-5802 no 800, 866, or 877 area code prefix.

Special Olympics calls here all the time.. Want it stopped now

I called the number back to complain and got a message saying they were Special Olympics and they were going to try and call my number again. They also gave another number call to speak to a customer service rep. Why are these people not covered by the national DO NOT CALL list?

got this call also, i called it back 800-951-5802 (special olympics)  told me to call customer service. called c/s 866-544-4880...spoke to a amy elliott asked to be removed from their list....
they are selling magazines to support special olympics.

i answered, and they asked "is so and so at this number?"  i told them not available at this time and that i could take a message.  she said there was no message but that she could call back at another time.

Relentless harassing calls at all hours of the day and night with frequency of every few minutes...
Called the Special Olympics customer service line at 866-544-4880 and told rep Norma Thompson to remove our number from the call list.  She attempted to get our name and address which I refused to provide and wanted permission to call in the future and I said if the calls continue I will sue for harassment.  I told her I am not willing to support an organization with no respect now or in the future.

While this is a telemarketer calling, they are calling on behalf of a charitable organization.  Thus, this kind of call is NOT blocked by the Do Not Call registry (donotcall.gov).

The only way to get off their list is to call them directly, record the conversation (mention you are doing this so it's legal!), and officially request that they remove you from their call list.  Mailing a registered letter to the Special Olympics probably won't work since it is an outside company working for the Special Olympics.

The best bet?  Use your caller ID.  If the number on the ID isn't recognizable, don't answer.  It is amazing if I get more than 10-15 phone calls a week at home anymore.  I never answer the phone unless it is someone I know.  Eventually, my phone number will fall off their lists because I never answer it!

Got a call from this number and answered it... He asked me if i was familiar with the Special Olympics program. Funny enough i'm a coach with SO Ohio. When i told him that, he hung up on me. My thoughts are that this is not the real Special Olympics!!!!

They say they are the Special Olympics. NOT SO!
I believe THEY ARE A FRAUDULENT GROUP OUT TO DEFRAUD THE INNOCENT! If this is really the Special Olympics, why do they hang up on Special Olympics Coach in Ohio, R Neuman?

I use to be an easy target for "sob" stories, but, since I lost my job, I must watch every penny, like many of us!

I am passing this info to my parents in their mid '80's as well because they don't use a computer & are in the dark about these criminals.

call 1-866-544-4880 and they will very politely take your number off of their call list.

Hung up when I answered...I could hear the sounds of a call center in the background.

Caller hangs up before my answer machine has a chance to kick on.
