I've had this number call me twice a day, often every day and on the weekends, for three months now.  I turn the ringer off when I sleep (third shifter here) so this morning was actually the first time I answered the phone.  A very snotty, snide woman asked for me by name and I told her to remove the number from her list.  She said it wasn't a list she was calling on, and proceeded to be terse with me so I hung up on her.  I'm interested to see if she calls again.

I get eight calls a day from HSBC trying to collect on an account I reported to their Insurance company that I was unemployed.  When I do answer the calls, they ask for their money.  I tell them I am unemployed and don't have it and that I reported my unemployment to the insurance company xx amount of weeks ago and they will pay them when they get around to it.  They sound like they are from the same country (India), and am tempted to ask them to go next door and knock on the door and ask for their money from the insurance company!  So, later in the call they verify your information and ask for a work number... to which I say, "Didn't I just tell you?  I'm unemployed!!!  I don't have a work number!!!"  Do they speak english?  Or do they pretend to?

They've been calling from one 800 number, and today I received a different call right after the first 800 number.  I looked up the new number and found this site and many others about it being a rip off!  Best Buy sucks if they keep working with this company.  I will never buy anything there on a store credit card again!

These guys are really pissing me off.  They have called twice already today (Saturday before 9:00 AM!).  I finally decided to look up the number on the net and found this site.  They keep asking for my daughter who does not live here anymore.  I ask what this is regarding and they do not tell me.  They ask for her number and I tell them I will not give out her number unless they tell me what this is regarding.  They will not tell me.  I asked for a supervisor today and they blew me off and finally hung up on me only to call back 30 minutes later.  This is seriously messed up.

Wow, man these jackholes really are something else.  I posted my story about my dealings with them under one of the other numerous numbers they use.  Apparently the FTC complaint I filed worked.  I filed a report on them, and put in the number they used to call, and calls from that number have reduced drastically, we're talking, a call every fifteen to twenty-nine minutes 8AM-9PM, to maybe 4-5 a day in that same time range.  However, calls from all their other numbers have increased dramatically, Honestly the government needs to step in and shut them down, they are the worst scum out there.

Wow, I didn't realize this was such an issue.  I used to answer calls from telemarketers and tell them to take us off their list and I finally go sick of it.  Lately, we've been getting non-stop calls from this 800-959-1373.  It's a Sunday morning and they called before 8.  They did the same yesterday (Saturday), the only two mornings I get to sleep. I didn't answer and finally decided to call the number back. The lady answered and asked me for an account number.  When I told her I had no idea what her company was so I didn't know what the account was, she asked me for my social. Um, NO! I asked her again what the company was for and she acted like she didn't even hear me and asked me for my name and account number.  Oh for the love...how do I make them stop besides sending a letter to India that will probably get lost!?

OMG  These people call me at work, and multiple times a day from 2 different numbers on my home number.  I have an account with HSBC, but it is in good standing.  I don't answer, but that doesn't seem to affect them with regard to calling me.
