They say they are from AMEX. I don't have Amex account. I called Amex direct number, and they told me they don't have this number in their system. Must be some kind of information phishing.

When I answered this call, there was no answer.

it is actually a call from a switch board company that is having a problem with their phone system, it is autmatically dialing random numbers at night. i have called the number got an answer and let the manager know what was going on. they are contacting their phone company now and having the probelm resolved. be patient with them even though the calls are annoying you.

Automated message from Elizabeth Clark, calling all hours of the day/night, claims not a solicitation call, requesting I call back at 800-964-7365.

Receive mesaages daily form Elizabeth Clark. She advises it's not a solicitation call and requests I call her back at 1-800-964-7365. It doesn't matter if I answer on the first ring or the thrid ring, there is never a person at the other end, just a message from Elizabeth Clark requesting a call back. When I called the number back, I got a voice message telling me to leave details about who I am and someone will get back to me.

I have gotten several calls from 800-964-7365 all at different times of the day and night. When I answer there is no one on the line and then the line goes dead. I hope someone can stop this.

I've ignored the calls for weeks but they still keep coming.  When I did call the number back, I got a voice message telling me to leave details about who I am and someone will get back to me.  No way!  I am going to report the calls to our State Attorney General's office.

I received one of these calls and they said it was AMEX-- Said that we owed them money on an old account-- I told them if that's true they can mail me a bill verifying the charges and than I'll discuss it further. She kep't on talking with an accent of sorts and I finally told her that I can't understand what she is saying and if they wanted further conversation, have someone who has a decent command of English with any accent call me.

I lost my wallet and a week later I started receiving these phone calls.  I believe it is a criminal ring trying to get information from you for identity theft.

Received the same call today. Said I owed money on an old card which was cancelled in 2005. They said the bill was from 2006 and suggested that I pay the bill with my AMEX pension fund (which is not AMEX anymore, but another company). People with accents. I called back and received AMEX answerings service. I obviously do not owe any money and this is a scam. Lady on phone asked "do you believe websites instead of a person?"

Jim, I have the same issue as you regarding this phone call. Told them to send me a bill indicating the same, however when she transferred me to another operator the line went dead. would appreciate it if you posted an update verifying wether or not you were able to get them to send you a bill or the conversation ended at that point.

Have been receiving calls AE saying that owe money from 2006. Impossible , cut cards up before that date . Did have last four numbers of SS# though . Unfortunately they probably have the other numbers as well They could not tell me date of purchases  or for what the purchase was for . Man sounded like Indian  accent and women had Oriental accent  Very hard to understand either one of them  Called AE and they said that they wer working on this problem . Man wanted checking account number . No way do we give account #s out on the phone

Reported call from this number a couple of weeks ago. Got another one today and when I said hello the party (a man) asked for some person and I said there was no one here by that name. I asked the man what number he was calling and he gave me my number and I told him he had the wrong number. I didn't realize it until later that it was the same number I had reported a few weeks prior.

Got calls from this number on 6/21 to 6/25. Two I answered and got recording from "Elizabeth Clark" to return her call. Sent 5 complaints to DoNotCall, then called the number. It was answered "American Express" and the person I talked to said they wanted to talk to someone else. I didn't know that person and advised him of my complaints and he assured me I would receive no more calls. One hour later-another call and another complaint filed. I do not have an AmEx card and have had phone number for year-and-a-half.

Numerous calls from this number 1-800-964-7365.  Do not provide any information to this number particularly any personal information.  

Caller-ID shows as unknown.  They are using a caller-id block.

It is not a switch-board "with phone trouble."

They are using an automated dialer which triggers to an "automated attendant" which leaves a message for you if your answering machine comes on.  The meassage is incomplete (usually get only the back half of it).

Contact your phone company and request that they put this number on a do-not call list.  Advise the phone company that you want call-intercept activated for this number if possible and request a track-back.

I get a call pretty much every morning between 8-10am from this number. It's been at least 4 months now.

I get the same call. I checked the Post Office  number and it is registered to Nationwide Credit, Atlanta, GA., a collections agency.
