Claims he is calling from Atlantic Energy....

Left messages indicating that I "need to call right away" regarding our gas and electric account...

Has left messages on my voicemail at work maybe ten times in the past month. Claimed to be calling from Direct Energy, and his name was James Hirsch (other names were also used on other calls.)  He needs me to call back with regard to my gas and electric bill.  After several weeks of repeated calls, I today called the number and told them to remove my number from their list.  The operator told me that my number would be removed within 24 hours.

I received several calls over the past 3 months at work on home # from Robbie Law. I decided to call them and asked them to remove my numbers. They are trying to you lock you in at a "special rate"
I have also informed Direct Energy of this as well, inwhich they are not aware of this happening.

Ive received several messages from this # 1-800-968-3503 and the messages sound very urgent" "You need to call me back regarding your direct energy accoun"First of all I don't use or pay for energy as I live in an apartment and therefore don't have an account, second of all the phone # they're leaving these messages on is my personal cell phone # and third of all I live in Ontario, Canada and this number is based in California....when I called it at 7pm my time, a rude lady on the phone advised they close at 3pm I could call back tomorrow.....told her my problem and she said she could remove me from their call list if I give my name number etc etc..I refused and advised it is harassment and hung up! I"m FED UP!!!!!!!!!

Received a message today on my job's desk phone voice-mail from "Amanda Edwards" of "Sempra Energy" regarding my "electricity account".  Urgently requested to call 800-968-3503 x6699 as soon as possible.

I'm ignoring it.  We'll see if they keep calling.

I'm getting these calls 2 from 'Direct Energy'.  I received my second call today - This one was a voicemail message from 1-800-968-3503 ext 1562 in reference to my natural gas account IIRC.  It sounds like a typical boiler room scenario - Lots of background noise of presumably hundreds of others making the same scam phone calls.  I talked to the first guy and busted his balls a bit as he's calling my work phone number.  I work for a big Canadian bank and advised that he should probably know who is repsonisble for the business' hydro/gas account rather than cold calling and asking to speak to the individual who taks care of it.  The call this time asked for a "Nick".

Received a call from Russell Schmell, want's to switch over our electric to some other company.

Someone from "Sempra Electric" called about our account.  We don't have an account with them. I got their information. 800-968-3503 x 6699. It must be a scam since I googled them and people report that they claim to be different companies.

I had my water heater serviced by Direct Energy recently, and this number has been showing up on my phone at least twice a week since. It's this sort of thing that makes me want to take my business elsewhere.

Receiving multiple calls from this number at both of my office phones, claiming they are from Energy Plus.  Same deal as everyone else - they need me to call them back regarding my account.  Obviously a scam!

Left a message on my voicemail Saying his name was Marcio Prado (he spelled it out)and I needed to call him right away.

Charles Churchman from Integris Energy left a message that it was important that we contact him about our natural gas service. We don't have natural gas in our building. When I returned the call and started asking questions, he hung up.

same number, guys name is dereck from intergy energy,it is very important that i call him back.

Has called repeatedly, both male and female callers, claiming that I need to call them right away regarding my account.  I have no account with Direct Energy and do not want them calling me anymore.

Received a call from 1-800-968-3503 the person identified as Cindy Chavez representing Clarke Energy, gave an extension #7733. Message stated that we needed to call back asap regarding an urgent matter with our account.

Returned call and was placed on hold for 15 minutes. When Miss Chavez came on the line she immediatly launched into a sales pitch, claiming that Clarke Energies was subcontracted by P.G.&E to deliver cheaper natural gas. Google search revealed that Clarke Energy is an Australian company not operating in the U.S.
